"Sibir" in the Premier League

2009 Author Andrey Filimonov.

Football club "Sibir" from Novosibirsk entered the Premier League. And this meant that Tom ceased to be the only team in Siberia playing football at this level. And then unexpected questions arose: wouldn’t our neighbors stop us from extracting money from sponsors? The last time Vladimir Putin himself participated in this process under the slogan “Let’s help the only team from Siberia in the tower.” And now competitors have appeared. And in general, given the long-standing scores of Tomsk with Novosibirsk and the constant rivalry of these cities for a special status in Siberia, it could be assumed that the meetings of these two teams in the Premier League would become especially intense and principled.
