Carnival of Christmas trees

The main character from mid-December to the Old New Year is still the Christmas tree.
In our densely forested region there are a lot of live Christmas trees everywhere, but it still brings tears to our eyes when they are thrown away. True, educated foresters at one time competently explained that the forest requires care, and therefore sanitary felling. Sometimes you need to cut down an old tree so that it doesn’t infect others, sometimes you need to thin out the young trees. And the fact that these conifers then show off in parks, squares, ice towns and just in apartments is a side joy.



Nowadays in official settings they prefer artificial trees, a hybrid of a Christmas tree with pine and its analogues. And so be it.



On the street you can find various models of such “crossing”.

The display cases contain the most original variations on a given theme.



It happens that they are accompanied by all sorts of fairy-tale characters, such as a snowman.



Insulated with fluffy balls and tassels (it’s a pity, the display window glows, but you couldn’t go in - it was closed).

Some people have thujas instead of a Christmas tree, the roots of which are carefully sprinkled with snow for insulation.



Some people prefer European-American motifs - such decoration.

However, if we talk about America, then this year there is a widely popular tradition - after the holidays, a natural Christmas tree is put into a shredder into sawdust. There are these right on the streets. Such a tradition would suit us too. And the forest is cleaner, and the trees have double benefits - joy and recyclable materials.
