The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation in 2007 will allocate 120 billion rubles for the maintenance of Russian roads, Yevgeny Moskvichev, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, said on Tuesday. At the same time, he noted that in 2006 the corresponding article in the budget provided for only 42 billion rubles, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the deputy minister, today the Ministry of Transport sets the task to eliminate for three years the shortcomings in the maintenance of roads that have accumulated over many years of underfunding of this direction, in order to reach the maintenance of roads according to the standards by 2010. Moskvichev also added that among the main tasks, improving the quality of road construction, increasing funds for road coverage and strengthening the responsibility of the road quality supervision service.
- In 2007, paid interchanges will appear on the Moscow Ring Road
Meanwhile, as the Moscow Komsomolets notes, in addition to increasing funding for maintaining road quality, this year it is planned to start building several commercial routes in the region. The first of them? Moscow-Petersburg? It is best prepared for the start today. The project proposes to connect both capitals with a high -speed track of 670 kilometers. It has already been determined that the head section of the road 58 kilometers will begin at the Moscow Ring Road, in the area of the Businovsky overpass.
It is assumed that the engineering project of the site will be agreed already in March, and the construction itself will begin in July, the completion of which is scheduled in December 2010. The cost of the structure is estimated at 55 billion rubles.
Another project, which they want to check the solvency of drivers of the Moscow region, affects the Odintsovo district. The road around the city of the same name will have a length of 19.5 kilometers. If experts approve it, then the implementation of the plan will also begin this year. The six-lane highway will originate from the transport interchange on the Molodogvardeiskaya Street with the Moscow Ring Road, cross the Mozhayskoye highway near the village of Gribovo and will join the Minsk highway at the 31st kilometer.
The third commercial route, the laying of which will begin in 2007, will connect the Moscow Riga and Volokolamsk highway. Its length will be only 2 kilometers.
The shortest commercial road - Krasnogorsk municipal, whose asphalt will stretch only 2 kilometers, will connect the Volokolamka with New Riga. They also intend to start its construction this year.
However, the authorities do not intend to make only those highways that are only planned. In addition, officials seek to transfer to the category of paid roads the reconstructed segments of existing federal routes, the work on which is carried out at the expense of the budget. First of all, this applies to the federal highway "Don", which is also going to make a commercial on the ICKAD-Kashira segment.
