Cirque du Soleil began with a simple dream. Several young artists gathered together to surprise the audience, see the world and have fun. In the early 1980s, the troupe of colorful characters-artists on stilts, juggles, dancers, swallowers of fire and musicians-wandered around the city’s poles, entertaining the inhabitants.
They called themselves "Les échassiers de Baie-Saint-Paul" ("Artists on stilt from Be-Sent-Paul"), this small street troupe was founded by Gilles Ste-Croix). Local residents really liked the performances of young artists, which included Guy Laliberté, who later became the founder of Cirque du Soleil. The troupe founded the club Le Club des Talons Hauts ("High Heels"), and then, in 1982, organized in the city of Be-Sent-Paul the Cultural Festival La Feral Foraine de Baie-Saint-Paul, during which street artists from different angles of the queen were exchanged, they were shared by plywood, shared plywood And entertained passers -by nuclear. Guy Lalibert, Gilles Sto-Crois and several of their friends began to cherish a fantastic dream of creating their own circus in Quebec, which could go on tour around the world.
Guy Lalibert proposed the idea of a presentation called Cirque du Soleil ("Circus of the Sun") so the story of Cirque du Soleil, which lasts until today! Initially, 73 people worked there. Now the staff of employees is almost 4,000. These are 40 nationalities speaking 25 languages of the world. During the work, they visited more than 200 cities in the world on 5 continents and more than 100 million people visited their show. The show is an plexus of all types of arts, all costumes and shoes are done manually, makeup is developed by the best makeup artists of the world, the technique of applying it is so complicated that for the preparation of the face of one actor can take more than two hours. Music for performances Cirque du Soleil is written individually and specifically for the show. Equipment for the performance weighs more than 1000 tons. During the presentation, at the same time up to 40k artists (!!) may be present on the stage. In general, getting to the performance, scale and professionalism make the imagination tremble.

Cirque du soleil with fr. means "circus of the sun." The word circus in the name Cirque du soleil has become more likely its own name, this is no longer a circus in its usual sense. There are no animals in the arena, only people participate, and even what. Each artist goes through the school of acting, so that the performed tricks are given an emotional drawing. Everyone is unique, but in the team, they say miracles they say!
Over 25 years of work, they have shown from simply a circus to a representation with deep content of Isuzhet. Interesting in my symbiosis. Each new show is a separate historian, for example, in Las Vegas, their show with the name "Love" was brought up by the history of the Beatles group.

At the moment, several shows from Cirque du Soleil are traveling around the world, Varekai show will come to Moscow. The word "sparkle" in the language of the gypsies - these tramps, wandering around the world - means "anywhere", "anywhere." This production is dedicated to the spirit of nomads, the art and atmosphere of the circus, its traditions, and the unquenchable passion of those whose share entails them along the path leading to Varekai .

In the fall, Cirque du Soleil first comes to Moscow and in my opinion it is cool. (1000 tons of an employment, it is one and a half hundred commodity wagons, together with live music will come to us from Hamburg)
Premiere on October 23 in Luzhniki.
On the Russian version of the site, you can read everything in more detail, watch photos and videos and buy tickets there and participate in the draws of free tickets. There even some kind of competition was arranged, they say you won, they will give tickets abroad on their show! :) (maybe in the same Hamburg)
