The most authoritative and understanding person is only the speaker of the Omsk City Council Mr. Dvorakovsky. Everyone else, in my opinion, has almost no chance. There are a lot of random candidates who simply try their hand. Like Andrey Rudakov, a student, for him Omsk elections are such a training site. There are odious personalities - Ilya Varlamov or our local blogger Igor Fedorov. Varlamov dropped out, and Fedorov is still listed on the list. In general, there are a lot of young unknown people. Inozemtsev Vladislav Leonidovich (the one who tried to register as a presidential candidate) also drew attention to Omsk. He goes like a self -nominee. The process goes very actively in quantitative terms, but in qualitative - I would not call it successful. Candidates are weak and have no idea how to engage in urban economy. I feel sorry for the Omsk voters. It is not known from whom they will choose. As for Varlamov, he and public primaries inflated the media. It's funny. In my opinion, he wanted to carry out such a complex PR. Omsk, the participation of these Muscovites did not bring anything good.

Even the approved new governor Viktor Nazarov was ready to support Varlamov in the elections, and this is sooooo a lot in our city! How great the demand of society for changes is - so many signatures are collected. The bulk of the inhabitants does not know about Varlamov. Only young people know him - up to 25 years. This is his main audience. And from this number there were 30 people who, on volunteering, agreed to collect signatures for it. So in order not to torment these young people who stand in tents all day, they stopped it all.

It was such an experiment. I understand all that. And they believe that the experiment was a success. 30 young people who worked there for an idea, for honest elections, for changes in life. When 30 such people are recruited, this is not so little. And there is some hope for the future in this.

Today the new candidate from the Communists was nominated. I think he has every chance. In all the last elections in Omsk, the Communists win.

As a result, the organizing committee of the “mayor citizen” (who proposed to Varlamov to participate in the elections - PP) fell apart (some members of the committee were for Fedorov, others for Varlamov and the Moscow candidate, economist Konstantin Inozemtsev - PP).
