Dancing opening

The cultural club “Dancing”, the opening of which will be held on October 16 in St. Petersburg - a new project from the organizers and accomplices of such once famous and popular St. Petersburg establishments as “Platform”, “Dachy”, “Guests”, The Place, “Sochi”, and is logical development of all these enterprises. The new club is located in the very center of the city, in the "Golden Triangle" of club life.

The format of the institution involves an active concert policy. The repertoire of the first two months includes concerts of many local groups, as well as guests from other cities of Russia and foreign countries (“Prepinaki”, Jukebox Tri, Lyuk, Jazzanov, Cherryvata, Karl Khlamkin and “Fiery Zazvosnoorcestra”, ETC.). The organizers of the club pursue for their own purposes the formation of a current cultural space, in which the public will represent the most fresh and interesting musical trends. Living concerts in the range from modern smart electronics to SKA and NU-RIVA. The main criterion is the quality, relevance and originality of the material. In addition to concert activities, the format of the institution involves a good dance program. Seti here will be represented by DJs who focus on the so-called “living” styles of dance music (SKA, REGGI, Dub, Ethno-Bit, Funk, Hip-Hop, Esid-Jazz, and so on). Thus, the club will stand out among such institutions oriented exclusively to electronic music.
Extensive experience in this field of activity, a thorough analysis of the audience, allows the organizers to count on a large number of interested in such a format and an adequate public. The name of the club reveals itself precisely in a cultural context and focuses on the popularization of the dance and generally musical culture in the broad and historical sense of this concept. Also, a large number of original non-recusial events are assumed here-literary performances, media exhibitions, video art-festivals, film screenings from leading Russian film critics, intellectual karaoke, and so on. Even before the opening of the club, both professionals (musicians, promoters, media representatives) and a potential audience show great interest in it. The capacity of the club is 300-350 people, the institution will work daily from 18-00 to 6-00. The kitchen is absent, but is compensated by a large bar with a high -quality and diverse assortment.

Nowadays, dancing is a universal way of rallying around the beautiful, a way of emotional unity and the expression of the best and hidden feelings - from the exalted pleasure of a beautiful drunken collectivization to a low indecency. Dances are recognized in love, they talk, especially when there are not enough words, teach something that they can’t teach any other. In a word, dancing is our collective unconscious, our everything. When more than one person is going to listen to music in one space, such a collective listening inevitably turns into dancing. Note, with all the meaningful and philosophical load, this word did not lose lightness, positiveness and unobtrusiveness. This is how our establishment should be understood.
