Sergei Ovchinnikov stepped up the attack, but Dynamo lost again

Dynamo Moscow continues to save money for their owner Alexei Fedorychev. In the match of the 5th round of the national championship they lost again, this time to Rostov - 0:1, and still do not qualify for bonuses. Even their own walls did not help Dynamo win their first victory in the championship. In Petrovsky Park, Semin’s team looked as dull as always, inferior in almost everything to the also not particularly bright “Rostov”.

If two teams agreed in advance to end the tour with the most boring match imaginable, they almost succeeded. For almost the entire ninety minutes of the game between the two teams, Dynamo coach Yuri Semin was the most active. Like a real winger, he worked the edge of the field, albeit from the outside. All the other Dynamo players, walking listlessly along the lawn, seemed to be waiting for the final whistle from the first minutes. The Rostov players, in turn, tried to play simply and strictly. Even though they, like their opponents, also took three or four touches to process each pass, in the fight the Rostovites were extremely concentrated and, on occasion, did not hesitate to foul. When both teams tried to escalate the game, referee Sukhina slowed down the pace with skillful whistles.

With all this, the guests still managed to carry out a clear attack in the first half. Once again the Muscovites' defense failed, and Beletsky, finding himself alone in front of Ovchinnikov's goal, sent the ball into the net with one touch. The beginning of the second half did not promise any drastic changes in the game. “Dynamo” still slowly carried out what, with great desire, could be called attacks, “Rostov” defended competently and even sometimes made retaliatory attacks. But around the 60th minute, the hosts managed to create something worthy. Dmitry Bulykin made a backheel pass to Danny, who sent the ball into the goal. But it’s not for nothing that Bulykin is considered the “king of the second floor.” He made his pass with his heel, and Sukhina, seeing a dangerous play in the forward’s masterpiece, did not count the goal. Then the referee once again canceled the visitors' goal - this time due to offside.

So the game “Dynamo” - “Rostov” would have remained unremarkable if not for Sergei Ovchinnikov. The goalkeeper, who had managed to grow a substantial mustache, did not become calmer. Having rescued his team several times on his own goal line and brought his teammates to their senses, having pretty much frightened the boys serving the balls with a loud cry, the Dynamo goalkeeper went to the opposing half of the field. There he took part in a corner kick as a forward, then, taking on the duties of a defensive midfielder, competed for the ball in the center and only then returned to his home penalty area. There was nothing more to see in this match, and Sukhina blew the final whistle, sealing Rostov's victory.

Another three points made Balakhnin's team a potential leader. In terms of lost points, Rostov was equal to CSKA, Rubin, Tom and Moscow. And Dynamo shares 14th-16th places with Luch and Shinnik. And judging by the games played by Semin’s team, it’s well deserved.
