Google introduced a tour of the Eiffel Tower

Google has unveiled an immersive tour of the world's most visited landmark. Google Street View now allows you to walk around the Eiffel Tower, as well as climb almost to its top and appreciate the impressive view of Paris from a 300-meter height.

Google employees used their camera-equipped cart to film the journey from one floor of the tower to the next.

The Google Cultural Institute and the management company of the Eiffel Tower have also teamed up to create an online exhibition , which presents archival photographs, plans, engravings from the time of the construction of the tower and different periods of its history.
