
In the capital, a criminal was detained, who extorted money from the deputy of the Moscow City Duma Inna Svyatenko. As a source in Moscow law enforcement agencies said on Wednesday, the detainee demanded 15 thousand dollars from the deputy "under the pretext of non -proliferation of defamatory information."
Svyatenko made an extortionist meeting, at which he was detained by OBOP employees. The man was detained when transferring part of the required amount - 3 thousand dollars.
The suspect is currently being detained. His identity is established - this is a 34 -year -old unemployed resident of the Eastern District. During the search, a leaflet containing compromising information on the deputy was seized from him.
Investigation of the incident is engaged in the investigative department at the Central Administrative District of the Central Administrative District.
