MOVIE
"Spiderwick Chronicles" (USA, 2008). Directed by Mark Waters. Starring: Sarah Bolger, Freddie Highmore, David Strathairn, Mary Louise Parker, Martin Short, Joan Plowright, Todd Fennell, Andrew McCarthy, Isabella Maiko. Another film adaptation of another fantasy book about a parallel world, which is much closer to ours than we used to think. The family, which, among other inhabitants, includes twin brothers Simon and Jared, moves to the town of Spiderwick and immediately finds itself surrounded by fairy-tale creatures, between whom all sorts of clashes occur. Quite a fascinating, although not original, tale. “Barricades”, “Horizon”, “Karo-Film on Kurskaya”, “Kinomir”, “Kinotsentr”, “Kronverk Cinema MDM”, “October”, “Pioneer”, “Pushkinsky”, “Five Stars”, “Five Stars” on Novokuznetskaya", "Rolan", "Cinema-Park on Kaluzhskaya", "Cinema Star RIO", "Formula Cinema Europe", "Artistic".
"Railway Romance" (France, 2007). Directed by Claude Lelouch. Starring Dominique Pignon, Fanny Ardant, Audrey Dana, Zinedine Soualem, Myriam Boyer, Michel Bernier, Cyril Elden, Gilles Lemaire. A thriller from a classic of French cinema about the strange circumstances of time, place and mode of action that inextricably linked the author of popular detective novels (Fanny Ardant - “No News from God”, “8 Women”, Callas Forever”), who is in search of a new hero for another bestseller, and a serial killer who escaped from prison (Dominique Pignon - “Alien: Resurrection”, “Amelie”, “The Long Engagement”). "Wick Club" .
"Dragon Hunters" (France - Germany - Luxembourg, 2008). Directed by Guillaume Ivernel and Arthur Kwak. The roles are voiced by Mary Maitlin Mauser, Rob Paulsen. Cartoon based on the popular television cartoon series all over the world. Two rogues from a parallel (again!) world, posing as brave conquerors of all sorts of monsters, are faced with a problem: in the country where they successfully fool their brains, real dragons appear, and willy-nilly they have to give the monsters a real thrashing. “Karo-Film on Kurskaya”, “Cinema Center”, “October”, “Five Stars”, “Cinema-Park on Kaluzhskaya”, “Cinema Star RIO”, “Formula Cinema Europe”.
"Don Quixote" (Spain - Italy, 2007). Directed by Jose Pozo. Starring Andreu Buenafuente, David Fernandez, Sonia Ferrer, Jose Luis Gil, Jordi Gonzalez, Sancho Gracia, Luis Posada. An animated variation on the theme of the famous novel by Cervantes, in which the foreground is not some knights of a sad image, but the donkey Rucio and the horse Rocinante. Another - and what can I say, quite funny - attempt to repeat the success of "Shrek" with its postmodern jokes and turning the classical canons inside out. “October”, “Five Stars”, “Cinema Star RIO”, “Formula Cinema Europe”, “Artistic”.
