Residents of the house on Sovetskaya, 96 took time off from work to hold a picket. People are protesting against the construction of a house next door. Literally six meters from the house on Sovetskaya, 96, the Tomlesstroy company is going to build a multi-storey building. For the third year now, residents have been turning to the Southern District administration, the mayor's office and even the prosecutor's office. They are trying to defend their green yard.
Irina Borzunova, a resident of the house: “They said that there would be a passage through our yard. But there is a sewerage system and a heating main running through the yard - everything is in disrepair. The house, by the way, is also there, and there is a BTI conclusion for this.”
A few minutes after the start of the action, residents of the neighboring nine-story building on Kuleva, 3 joined the picketers on Sovetskaya. The picket moved to another yard, but the demands remained the same.
Towards the end of the protest, representatives of the developer arrived at the site of the future construction site. However, they did not come to negotiate with the protesters. They say that this is a private visit to the owner of the land plot and they refused to comment.
Olga Kozir, resident: “I want to appeal to our mayor and deputies - protect us, native Tomsk residents!”
