The “Here and Now” project opens with an exhibition of the same name, introducing the Russian viewer to the iconic figures of Western contemporary art. You can see works by contemporary Western artists, which undoubtedly belong to the category of collectibles. Gallery "Regina" ("Winery") , until February 29.
Alexander Sigutin, Vladimir Anzelm. "Guest workers of the spirit." This is not the first joint project of two authors who have long worked in close collaboration among artists of the so-called South Russian wave, well known by such names as V. Koshlyakov, Y. Shabelnikov, S. Shekhovtsov. In this project, painting coexists with sculpture. Sigutin's monumental canvases from the "Prorisi" series convey the schemes of famous icon painting subjects - from the "Trinity" to the "Assumption". In contrast to the white canvases, Anselm’s chamber and heavy sculptures made of pressed charcoal reflect the objective world often found in the backgrounds of works of sacred art. Gallery Pop/off/art , until February 23.
Alexander Drevin and Nadezhda Udaltsova. "Despite the era." More than 60 unique works from private collections, as well as paintings from the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery by expressionist artists of the 1920s and 1930s by Alexander Drevin and Nadezhda Udaltsova. Drevin was called the Russian Van Gogh. In 1938, he was executed at the Butovo training ground. And his wife, Nadezhda Udaltsova, in the 20s was part of the group of so-called Amazons of the Russian avant-garde. Gallery "Nashchokin's House" , until February 25.
Ilya Kabakov. "Memories of a communal kitchen." One of Kabakov’s most important installations, which has only now become available to the general public in Russia. This work was first presented in 1992 at the Dina Verny gallery in Paris and has been kept there ever since, until the ART4.RU museum acquired it for its collection: eight large notice boards, about a hundred drawings, eight stands with many small artifacts like scissors, antique glasses, caps, buttons. ART4.RU , until February 28.
