The May Day demonstration became a grandiose event for Vladivostok. Several tens of thousands of townspeople marched across the bridge over the Golden Horn in honor of the Spring and Labor Festival.

The May Day demonstration on the bridge over the Golden Horn from the Opera and Ballet Theater began at 11:00. City cyclists were the first to overcome the planned route to Korabelnaya Embankment. About two thousand townspeople came to the bridge on their “iron horses.” Following them, a May Day procession of many thousands began.

Columns of various organizations and departments walked across the bridge over the Golden Horn, and then along Sukhanov, Uborevich and Svetlanskaya. A procession of officials, deputies, employees of private companies, management companies, energy workers, builders, trade unions, creative groups, sailors, students and many, many other residents and workers of Vladivostok “flowed” into the central square.

Gag...
1. 7:45... I'm on the bridge... I was thinking of photographing the beautiful sunrise. Only one photo came out... Then everything was shrouded in fog. It became disgusting and cold, and besides, my sore throat caused a lot of discomfort. Now I’m sitting at home, drinking hot tea with honey, doing this post with a temperature of 38.9 and still having a sore throat... All because of yesterday’s football...

2. And here is the only photograph of the dawn... I never saw the sun again all day...

3. There is nothing to do... I decided to take a walk to Churkin... And I’ll warm up along the way... The bridge was empty...

4. It seemed that the weather was about to clear up... However... This is just a small gap in a dense cluster of clouds through which the sun flashed...

5. Starting from the stop. DVGTU blocked traffic.

6. Tsarevich Embankment is deserted.

7. Quiet running.

8. I have never regretted dressing so warmly... I wouldn’t refuse a scarf, of course... Today the bridge itself is open until 3 am (I think). At first I wanted to go and film, but... Due to the illness that overtook me, I stayed at home.

9. A huge oil slick slowly consumes everything in its path.

10. The city is waking up from sleep... Slowly, lazily... The port itself is waking up... The ever-screaming seagulls are waking up... People are waking up... They wake up and, sluggishly moving their legs, move in one direction - towards the bridge.

11. From the very morning, the post was shrouded in a musical mood... Moreover, the music played the Soviet repertoire... Well, what about... The holiday of communism...

12. A lonely janitor collects garbage... How dirty the bridge will be after all these festivities is anyone's guess. How much garbage will end up in the sea?!

13. After 30 minutes I was already on the Churkinsky side, where a column was gradually forming. Two tents with dances, a row of dry toilets, a car with balloons, girls in white shirts with holiday symbols...

14. Cars occasionally disturbed the peace on the bridge. Police, maintenance, organizers...

15. Then a line of law enforcement agencies passed by. Dog handlers checked every eyeglass on the bridge. Safety comes first.

16. Loud beeps were heard from the direction of berth 33...

17. Korabelnaya embankment.

18. The central streets of the city were blocked. How nice it is to walk along an empty road, right in the middle!!! Let's make these places a walking place every Sunday!!! :-)

19. Today the Internet will simply be bursting with an abundance of photographs from the “I’m on the Bridge” series.

20. Not a single event in the city is complete without the presence of the legendary and universally recognizable Semyon.

21. There are more and more people. Once you were forced to participate in the procession, you can’t argue with that, otherwise you might fail the exam (passed stage). Gradually the Churka side is filled with people.

22. Another bow against the background of pylons. The pose is awkward, but it doesn’t matter - the main thing is to do it! :-) But I don’t have such a photo yet. :-)

23. I also noticed this man. I was a little surprised by his approach to setting the horizon in the frame. Original, don't you think?! I know that when they lay tiles, they use the same very complex mechanism (thread and bolt) so that everything is level.

24. To be honest, I really wanted to drink in order to somehow warm up... Despite the fact that I was on the move all the time, I didn’t feel very comfortable, and even in the damp wind.

25. It’s already 9:20 in the morning. In an hour and a half the procession begins. More and more organizations are arriving at the gathering place.

26. The Vladivostok sky today was filled with hundreds, thousands of balloons.

27. The very presence on the bridge liberates people, makes them happy, cheerful... It’s not every day that you can walk where you usually can’t! :-)

28. And again I’m on the Churkinsky side, where a column is starting to form a little bit.

29. Dozens of people with loudspeakers shout over each other in order to convey the necessary information to their column.

30. I don’t remember that in childhood, when the Nekrasov overpass was opened, my parents led me by the hand... And was there any grand opening... Happy holiday, balloons, procession?! I don't remember, it was a long time ago.

31. Many residents and guests of the city saw Vladivostok from a bird's eye view for the first time.

32. Bow against the backdrop of the city for your personal collection or Instagram.

33.

34. Beauty in sneakers! :-)

35. Foreign friends. By the way, in the column of cyclists, athletes were also seen talking to each other “in Busurmanian.” Did they come specially to ride across the bridge???

36.

37. And so... At 10:45 the first column, consisting of cyclists, officially opened the beginning of the holiday! :-)
38. And here is Alexey Voronin on a bicycle, the camera, apparently, is hidden in his backpack. :-)

39. There were a lot of cyclists with children.

40. A column consisting of one person, proudly carrying a holiday flag, heads from Churkin towards the center. His gaze is stern, his gait is confident, his intentions are unshakable.

41. Always smiling Anya. :-)

42. After 10 minutes, a foot column headed by employees of the Primorsky Territory administration also started.

43. The always smiling governor led the procession.
44. A festive mood, despite the nasty weather, swept across the bridge like a wave, giving smiles to everyone who took part in the procession. Symbolic branches of something, green balls, colored clothes, different faces and moods... Cool!

45. PEACE! WORK! MAY!
I, Alexander Khitrov, am working peacefully on this wonderful May day, despite the fact that for some reason it is considered a day off... Paradox... Labor Day is also a day off.

46. This young man is also aware of this. He cannot understand how this can happen... Labor Day and without labor... Although... If you were forced to go to this procession, you need to work hard so as not to oversleep - everything falls into place!!!

47. DVTU employees merge with green balls (joke).

48. Have fun, people!!!

49. The administration of Vladivostok decided not to go along with the governor’s corps - they simply merged with the crowd.

50. And the column stretches and stretches. I really wanted to know how long it was?! How many kilometers...

51. Many enterprises will probably organize corporate parties in honor of today...

52. Vitaly Ankov. In general, this event was covered by a lot of press, and all the press covered it, what is there to think and guess?! However, someone was slacking off from work, as a small group from PrimaMedia was seen carrying red balloons.

53. The employees of the sanatorium (?) "Shmakovka" decided not to stand out from the crowd and just walked along, singing songs to the accordion. :-)

54. "Look what I have..."

55. A second column is gradually beginning to form at Small GUM, which will complete the procession.

56. While I was filming this procession, I moved around a lot, sweated, got wet... As a result, I froze... So I decided to retreat to the editorial office... I quickly decided to walk the entire path of the procession to the square...

57. People stood along the streets welcoming the procession. They wave flags, shout, rejoice and, of course, take pictures against the backdrop of this action...

58. Stores located in the “alcohol quarantine zone” were closed until 15:00. I mean those stores where there are alcoholic beverages.

59. There were drummers like this near the FESTU building.

60. In addition to the police, Cossacks kept order on the street.

61.

62. On the square itself, preparations were already underway for the start of the concert program. A funny picture: a small queue formed at Igor Sergeevich’s.
"...
Plan for today:
1. Photo on the background of the bridge"
2. Photo with a column in the background"
3. Photo with the mayor "..."

63. The veterans started dancing... Even the monument at the back ceased to be a formidable monument... Look like a man waving his hat...

64. And the line of people kept walking and walking... Walking and walking... Even when I went down to the square on the bridge, the procession was still going on.

65. Having taken photographs in the editorial office, we went to the bridge... Again... But this time to write blitzes about Khabarovsk.

66. The last frame in my big photo report... Let it be musical!!! :-)

Such a squiggle... :-)
Happy holiday everyone! :-)
