Vita is not one and a half years old, but he is already a real man. So says his mother. Only she knows how much suffering had her son to survive for his still little life, most of which, together with her mother, Vitya spent in hospitals
Help the fund to them. Ani Chizhova helpIn the family of the Larionov Vitya is the fourth child, he has two older brothers and sister. Therefore, Anna is an experienced mother, and she would surely notice if something went wrong during pregnancy. But everything was in order. Yes, and at first they did not see any problems at the ultrasound: Vitya grew and moved as it was supposed to be for his age. And only at thirty weeks did the doctors saw the cysts of the brain, but said: "Now nothing can be done with this, only after birth."
Around the same time, Anna began to feel that Vitya was behaving unusually - she rarely felt his movements, and decided to go to the hospital again. The doctor listened to the heartbeat and reassured Anna, they say, everything is fine. But only three days later it became clear that this was completely wrong.
Anna with children photo: Anna Ivantsova for TD“Three days later, I went to a planned appointment, and there was another doctor,” Anna tells her voice interrupted by excitement. - I had a cardiotocography (KTG), and it showed very bad results. I was immediately sent to check, in the evening they checked, again made a CTG. KTG is bad, everything is worse and worse, and in the morning they urgently performed the operation. ”
Despite the fact that Vitya was born a month earlier than the due date, he weighed ordinary three with a small kilogram for the newborn and, having been born, screamed. But Anna recalls that in appearance the son was "as if cotton, very soft." Doctors realized that this was swelling.
“Just a few minutes later, Vitya was sent to intensive care, they said that he was breathing poorly. It turned out that he was very swelling, because he lacked oxygen. Oxygen did not come, but this was not visible on the ultrasound. And he gained liquid, ”says Anna, and you can hear how hard it is to tell her.
Over the next three days, Vitya has changed beyond recognition: getting rid of excess fluid, he lost a quarter of his own weight, as much as 800 grams, became completely thin.
The first two months of Viti's life were the most difficult. Fast weight loss was given to his young organism very difficult. Speaking about this time, Anna, getting down, lists everything that happened to her son then, and, it seems, he does not believe in how many hardships he had to transfer.
Vitya photo: Anna Ivantsova for TD“Viti had a hemorrhage in the lungs, then, after a couple of days - the second hemorrhage, problems with the internal organs began, it began to be fed intravenously, then the infection connected, and it went, immunity fell, and everything went,” says Anna. -Then he fell into a coma, lay ten days either alive, but still came out. That is, they barely extinguished the infection, they found some antibiotic, but late. ”
When the state of Viti stabilized, he was transferred from the resident hospital to the local hospital, where the baby was made computed tomography. She showed that the infection that struck the body reached not only the internal organs, but also to the brain.
“In the hospital, I constantly went to the manager,” Anna recalls. - She, of course, said that there are no furrows that should be, but they did not tell us anything categorical. And only in the hospital the head of us told us this. ”
Anna photo: Anna Ivantsova for TDIn the hospital, Vitya fought for his life for two more months and - a real man - won. But after discharge, he was not sent home, and with his mother was put to another hospital - this time in a palliative department, where they had to spend the next ten months.
The palliative compartment a little reminiscent of an ordinary apartment, at least Anna and Vitya lay in a separate room, where relatives could have visited them freely, and older children, who looked after dad, grandmother and grandfather, sometimes even stayed overnight. But still, this is not her own apartment, and Anna wanted to return home as soon as possible, to the family.
“As I understand it, these are the recommendations of the Ministry of Health (keep palliative children in the hospital for up to a year. - Approx. TD ), which are very zealously carried out by the leadership of the hospital,” says Anna. - Previously, this was not there, because when I found out everything, I did not want to lie for so long, they told me that those in whom were sure, they had previously released. But now, apparently, the Ministry of Health is watching this, so they are very insisting. When we were four months old, we could calmly go home, but we were not allowed. ”
Vitya photo: Anna Ivantsova for TDOf course, in the Vita hospital they provided all the necessary assistance, literally taught him to breathe, and in the meantime, she studied the difficult care of her own child, who demanded and requires constant attention. But everyone explained “very gradually”, because “there is no such thing: take and explain all the subtleties at once, these subtleties eventually pop up gradually, and you are not sure of yourself all the time.”
Viti's condition did not add confidence. In addition to serious hydrocephalus, which developed on the basis of infection, he transferred as many as two inflammations of the lungs in the palliative department, the cause of which, Anna believes, could well become a hospital infection. But before the first, he already began to breathe on his own.
When Vita was a year old this winter, Anna and her son were discharged from the hospital, because "as soon as a year has passed, they are already trying to send home as soon as possible if everything is fine." The family finally reunited. But at home, despite the support of her husband, parents and older children who are spinning next to Anna almost all the time of our conversation, Vita still really needs help. And without it, the family does not remain, because the Ani Chizhova charity fund has been working in Cheboksary for four years.
Anna and Vitya Photo: Anna Ivantsova for TDAnna met with his director, Irina Lapshina, in the palliative department, where Irina regularly comes to talk about the fund and offer help. Anna says that Irina appeared in her life exactly when it was especially necessary.
“She came just at the moment when I needed a person who will tell about the child some nuances not purely mechanical. Not only to do with a child, but how to feel him, some small moments. It was very important to me then, this conversation was very important. And then, when something was needed, we, of course, corresponded and communicated, ”says Anna.
Vitya photo: Anna Ivantsova for TDIt was the Ani Chizhova fund after discharge from the last hospital that was able to very quickly raise a small amount for the purchase for Viti a mobile aspirator - a special device that allows the baby to breathe calmly, including on a walk. With a more bulky model that Viti has, access to the street was simply unavailable. Another fund bought the baby a convenient children's sensor for measuring the pulse and the level of oxygen in the blood. And right now, its employees help the family correctly arrange papers to receive a special children's stroller from the state, choose a suitable model together.
“The fund always supports,” Anna simply says. - You ask - find out what is possible, what is impossible. If there is, they always give. ”
In the conditions of quarantine with Anna, we talked remotely, but even it is impossible not to notice how she is nervous and worried, talking about her little man, who seems to “can endure everything.” The main difficulties are now persistent problems with the lungs, because of which Vita literally “hurt”, and the head constantly increasing due to hydrocephalus. Anna says that only in the last three months her diameter has grown by one and a half centimeters.
“It’s very difficult for him with such a head,” Anna explains. - His reflexes all work, and he would, for example, crawled with pleasure, we used to crawl, tried. He wants to crawl when you put it on the stomach, he tries to turn his head from side to side. And she is so heavy with him! Even it’s hard for me to turn it over. And scary by the neck. "
Anna and Vitya Photo: Anna Ivantsova for TDIn recent months, Anna has been trying to achieve for Viti the nozzle of the ventricles of the brain, which can facilitate its condition and normalize the amount of spinal fluid in the head. The operation is risky, and Chuvash neurosurgeons do not dare to do it, despite the recommendations from Moscow. All hope for experts from Kazan, Vitya is waiting for a call to the local hospital, but he can come from pandemia at any time.
In the meantime, a friendly and large family lives its new, albeit a difficult, but still common life. And - thanks to the Ani Chizhova foundation - it can even sometimes, in compliance with all precautions, go out for a walk in full force. And we can help the charity organization with our donations, because the Ani Chizhova fund does not leave its wards even in the most difficult situation.
