Dear representatives of the media!
Now you have a REAL opportunity to help identify a single candidate for President of the Russian Federation, capable of consolidating around himself the majority of voters dissatisfied with what is happening.
My suggestions are the following:
1. It is necessary for all Internet users to be given the opportunity to vote online both “for” and “against” specific candidates.
This should be a site open to all Internet users, because not everyone is a member of social networks, LJ community, etc.
The resource should not have any relation to any political organizations - this is the only way to ensure a high degree of confidence in the results of online voting on the part of citizens. This site can, for example, be opened under the control of the organizing committee of the December 24 rally and representatives of various media and public organizations.
1.1. Sample list of candidates for online voting
Citizens who have already declared their readiness to participate in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation on March 4, 2012:
V. Zhirinovsky, G. Zyuganov, E. Limonov, S. Mironov, M. Prokhorov, V. Putin, G. Yavlinsky.
Citizens who are currently most popular among participants in the rally on December 10, 2011 and in online discussions of current events:
A. Belov, G. Gudkov, M. Kasyanov, A. Kudrin, A. Navalny, B. Nemtsov, L. Parfenov, V. Ryzhkov and others.
1.2. Operating principles of online voting:
Each participant in the Internet voting (1 time from one IP address) receives 2 votes “FOR” - “First vote - FOR” and “Second vote - FOR”; and up to 5-6 votes “AGAINST” (as a rule, any list of candidates contains several persons for whom a particular voter will never vote. It is also very important to determine the degree of “unpopularity” of candidates).
A participant in an online vote casts “First Vote - FOR” for “his” candidate, and “Second Vote - FOR” for the candidate with the second highest degree of personal trust.
“AGAINST” votes are cast for candidates for whom the voting participant will not vote under any circumstances. Only 1 “AGAINST” vote can be cast for each candidate.
As a result of online voting, we will receive information about both the most popular and unpopular candidates.
2. Information about online voting with a link to the appropriate resource must be disseminated using the maximum possible number of media outlets, news agencies, news feeds, etc. It is advisable to distribute a link about the ongoing action in social communities, ask them to post it on the blogs of popular bloggers, disseminate information via Twitter, etc...
3. The results of online voting must be reviewed by the organizing committee of the rally on December 24 and announced at the rally .
During the first day of the action, the number of participants who confirmed on Facebook their readiness to participate in the rally on December 24 exceeded 13,000 people. This is a good indicator, but it is not so much on a national scale. Only with your help, dear representatives of the media, dissatisfied citizens of Russia can make a qualitative breakthrough, breaking the boundaries of Facebook and other social networks, and asking the opinion of all Russian citizens with access to the Internet...
A citizen's vote cast via the Internet is no less important than participation in a rally. At best, hundreds of thousands of Muscovites and guests of the capital will take part in the Moscow rally, but MILLIONS of citizens from all over Russia will be able to take part in the online voting over these ten days. And these millions of voices will be seen by the authorities.
Many people do not believe in ultimate success, because... they doubt the ability of the leaders of the protest movement to come to an agreement among themselves... Many simply do not see a worthy candidate... Please help our citizens make their choice. After all, it is within your power!
PS
My appeal to those readers who begin to say that we still will not have time to complete all the legal formalities necessary to nominate a single candidate, we need to consolidate around those already nominated, etc. etc.
Oh really?! Since when have laws in Russia become a “sacred cow”, and any issues cannot be resolved with a wave of the hand of one person? It doesn’t seem to me at all that the Kremlin in the current situation will ignore the demands of millions of people...
