Danilo Perez is one of the most famous jazz pianists and composers working at the intersection of jazz and Latin American music. His deeply original style is a fusion that highlights elements of the music of his native Panama, pan-Latin, Afro-Cuban rhythms and the improvisational thinking of North American jazz. Vadim Pevzner (New York) and the group Cirque du Pevzner . Pev's second concert tour in Russia after many years of emigration. During his current visit, Pev will present his new album “The Thing” (the presentation itself will take place on November 2 at B2 with the participation of various excellent musicians). Myllarit (Karelia). Incredibly charming Karelians will play six (!) concerts in Moscow from October 30 to November 8. They sing equally well dashing songs about bath attendants, fishermen and millers, and harsh northern ballads. Their repertoire includes songs in Russian and Finnish (their Russian, however, looks more like Finnish). Today at Vermel , 22.00.

CONCERTS
Conductor Thomas Sanderling will replace Leonard Slatkin in the concert of the Russian National Orchestra. Today in Moscow the famous conductor and head of the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, Leonard Slatkin, was supposed to perform with the RNO, but due to an unexpected illness the maestro will not be able to come. The concert program includes the overture to the opera Die Meistersinger of Nuremberg by Wagner , Schumann's Fourth Symphony and Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky orchestrated by Ravel . Celtic New Year. The celebration will take place under the auspices of the fusion of Celtic traditions and cultures of the peoples of Russia, so not only Celtic music will be played. On the first day, today, performers of Karelian, Buryat, Balkan and Russian ethnic music will take the stage, including the Karelian group Reel , famous for their saw passages, the Buryat-Mongolian ensemble “Namgar” and the Moscow group “Lakocha” . Tomorrow they will play Celtic folk. The groups Foggy Dew (Rostov-on-Don), Racoons (Nizhny Novgorod) and the winner of the 2002 International Dance Competition in Ireland Maria Singal , brilliantly performing Irish step, will perform. EXHIBITIONS
"Narcissus". Exhibition-presentation on the occasion of the release of the 3rd issue of the magazine “Narcissus”. A huge underground passage under the intersection of the Garden Ring and M. Dmitrovka will turn into a museum and concert venue for one evening. Three photo projects by Alexander Yakut will be exhibited on the walls of the passage-gallery: “Dreams of Chang. Shanghai - Bosphorus - Odessa", "4 night professions in Moscow (bartender, taxi driver, pimp, traffic police inspector)" and "Resort romance (sanatorium named after Ordzhonikidze)". Also planned for the presentation is a musical program presented by Artemy Troitsky. Lady Miss Kier , a member of Deee-Lite, will play an avant-garde DJ set combining a bunch of musical styles. In addition to her, Bogdan Titomir, who has risen from the ashes, will DJ during the transition. 22.00.
