Two Il-62 aircraft made emergency landings at Moscow's Domodedovo airport on Sunday. One of them was flying to the capital from Vladivostok, the second from Anadyr. At 13.30, the crew of the first airliner contacted the Moscow dispatcher. There were 79 passengers and 11 crew members on board. The pilots reported first engine failure and requested an emergency landing. All operational services of the airport were put on alert, but, fortunately, their help was not needed - the landing took place safely. And at 23.00, the pilots of another Il-62 reported the failure of the second engine. The second emergency landing was also successful - none of the 12 crew members on board were injured. Specialists immediately began inspecting the aircraft to determine the cause of the problem.
