EXHIBITIONS
Karim Rashid. An exhibition of works by one of the world's most famous and original designers. The concept of the exhibition was invented by Karim Rashid specifically for Moscow. The exhibition consists of three parts - the multifunctional object Stratoscape, an installation of fifty seats of different shapes and colors and artistic prints created by Rashid based on his own designs. Apart from Stratoscape, which has already been exhibited in several cities, all models were created in a single copy. Gary Tatintsian Gallery , until October 30.
Weegee. An exhibition of works by the king of photo reporting, America's most famous photojournalist during the Great Depression era. Weegee was a staff photographer for Homicide Ltd., and his photographs depicted a world of gangsters, jazz clubs and Cadillacs. Viji, unlike most photojournalists, did not sleep at night, but scoured New York at night, looking for sensations. He received his nickname - the name of the game where everything depends on the speed of pressing the key - for his ability to arrive at the scene of a crime not only before other journalists, but often before the police. The exhibition features relics associated with the names of Dmitry Donskoy and St. Sergius of Radonezh. Among them are authentic seals and things from the tombs of Dmitry Donskoy, chain mail and a reliquary cross of the 14th century found on the Kulikovo field, the “Synodik of the Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin” of the 15th century, which lists the names of soldiers who died in battles on the Vozha River in 1378 and on the Kulikovo field in 1380, as well as Dmitry’s will.
