For someone, summer is a vacation, and we go on the road to give music to our supporters.
Thus, in May, the first country will be the UK: May 13 will be an ethno-design in London, and 14-perhaps also Manchester.
In the second part of the month we will move to Russia: on May 22 we hold the Festival "The Country of Dreams" in Perma, on May 29 we are already in Moscow, and on June 3-in St. Petersburg.
Then we have Israel: June 9-Tel Aviv (Ha-Theater Club), and on June 10-Haifa, a concert hall "Auditorium".
And now negotiations on the American tour have begun.
You mentioned the "Land of Dreams" ...
So, on May 22, for the first time in the history of the Festival "Land of Dreams" will take place in Russia, namely in the Ural city of Perm.
I realized that the topic is now being promoted in Russia that Perm is a Russian cultural island and therefore leading groups and projects are invited there.
It is here that a large Ukrainian festival will be organized for the first time and we have two days of "Dream Countries".
And what program and participants?
We present a joint project where Vopli Vidoplyasova and the Mlada Perm Choir will take part. In addition, as DJ O'Skrypka I will spend the ethno-desco "Evening" -as we did in Moscow last year on the birthday of Nicholas Gogol: the program of ethno-disc will be a school of folk dance, the band "Bougaya boots" will perform, and visitors will treat dumplings.
In addition, the Ocean of Elsa, Boombox and Haydamak is also planned to arrive at the Perm.
Who supports this event?
The initiator is the Russian side, namely the mayor of Perm. It's strange, but it's a nice fact.
And in general, it is gratifying that BB is regularly invited to Russia. Yes, now we will also participate in the Festival "The Nighting" in Moscow on July 9.
What is not enough for Ukrainian artists to know better abroad?
It is clear that the efforts of artists who travel abroad we promote Ukraine. But we know that to date, serious power is you - mass media. And without a mass media that will promote Ukrainian music abroad, there will be no such a powerful wave.
In principle, there are such ideas and proposals and, I hope that there will be a music channel in Ukraine that would broadcast contemporary Ukrainian music to foreign countries. Including - and in Russia.
