For the first time, Citroen 2CV was represented by 1939, and available to the general public in 1948.

60 years have passed since that moment, and the last car got off the conveyor in Portugal in 1990.

Over these 42 years, Citroen has released 5,118,889 “Kochek chairs” of all modifications.

Now, (following the VW Beetle, Fiat 500 and Mini) Citroen is preparing for the revival of 2CV already at the end of this year.

The brand new 2CV will no longer be so affordable and will be built on the C3 or C4 platform and equipped with a 1.4 engine. There will be three options for execution of the roof: cloth (like the ancestor), glass and simple metal.
