The new Coca Cola advertising campaign is called “Open Happiness”, but judging by the rollers, not only worm extract is added to the cult drink, but something more serious. Does the drink return to the origins?
Let me remind you, at first the main part of Coca Cola: there was an extract of coca leaves (from the same leaves they still make a wonderful cocaine) and a few nuts of the Cola tree. The drink was patented by its creator John Stit Pemberton as the best remedy “from any nervous disorders”. Pemberton also claimed that Coca-Cola healed from impotence, and that it could be jumped on those who were addicted to morphine (he was not unfounded, since Pemberton himself did not sit on morphine). But years have passed, and as a result, now in addition to sugar, phosphoric acid, caffeine, caramel, carbon dioxide and the secret coola -secret ingredient. Last week, it turned out that it was nichrome not wood nuts, but a natural dye of carmine or food supplement, a koshenil, extracted from the larvae of a koshenille. Failure.
Apparently, to save the image of the drink, the Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam agency created three videos. They were removed by the 34-year-old director of Tom Kuntz. The director in his videos came off so that it is possible to say with confidence - COce is back - open your happiness. Now we are waiting for the return of nuts.
