“12 chefs from six Siberian cities competed for the title of the best. The Olympiad was held at the College of Food Industry, Trade and Services. During the practical part of the Culinary Olympiad, the participants had to prepare a chicken dish,” writes Yuri Tsvetkov.

The winner of the Olympiad was a representative of the Seversk Industrial College, Vera Balyaeva. Second place was shared by Nikolai Grigoriev, a student at the Tomsk College of Food Industry, Trade and Services, and Maria Drebentsova, a student at the Novosibirsk Cooperative College. Third place went to Kemerovo Technological Institute student Maxim Aleksenko.
