The official trailer for the patriotic opus from the autocrat of Russian cinema has been released.
The epic film “Burnt by the Sun 2: Imminence” , a new creation by Nikita Sergeevich Mikhalkov , has acquired an official trailer. As the title suggests, it is a sequel to the 1994 Oscar-winning film . The “face and mustache” of Russian cinema again appears in the image of division commander Kotov, unjustly condemned in the thirties as an enemy of the people. Sent as part of a penal battalion to the front, Kotov, judging by the trailer, witnesses all the significant events of the war.
The film poster convinces future viewers that this is a “Great Movie about the Great War.” You can personally verify the incredible modesty of the creator in the new trailer:
The film, whose premiere is scheduled for April 22, 2010, is designed to raise the morale of Russians who are worried about the failures of our team at the Olympic Games in Vancouver. Mental trauma from future “unjust” defeats of our Motherland will be healed by the second part of “Burnt by the Sun 2” - the film “Citadel”, released on Russian screens on November 4, 2010.
