Architectural Bureau Love designed a new facade for Lentia City , one of the largest shopping centers in Linz, the third largest city in Austria.
After the expansion of the areas in 2010, when Lentia City began to occupy 20,000 m2, the center needed a facade that reaches a busy business street Blutenstrasse. Love Bureau It developed the entrance to the mall so that it was curious to the passers -by to look into the store. Although the historical development of the street does not exceed 4-5 floors, due to the difference in scale, the facade equal to them in height looks giant.
A noticeable project of the Love Bureau, called Lentia Sky resembles a starry sky. It is a hinged aluminum silver panels with point lighting, hiding the reinforced concrete wall of the building. In the evenings, round plastic illuminators, thanks to LED spotlights, are stained in bright colors, becoming purple gas giants or distant green planets.
The lower part of the facade slightly retreats deep into the red line of the street. Here, on the sides of the entrance, glass windows and the outer mine of a panoramic elevator are located, connecting a five -story underground parking with retail spaces.
