THEATERS
"Shukshina's Stories". Produced by Alvis Hermanis (Latvia). In the roles of Chulpan Khamatova, Evgeny Mironov, Yulia Svezhakova, Yulia Peresild. The performance was based on the motifs of ten short stories by Vasily Shukshin. Alvis Hermanis showed the distance at which we are all from each other: he and his Latvian artist Monika Pormale -- from Russia, the Moscow actors -- from the villagers of Srostka, all of us -- from the village life of the 60s. But probably it was this distance and remoteness, which he carefully maintained in his staging, that helped him to stage a play far more Russian than that of most domestic directors. Premiere. Theater of Nations on the stage of the Theater on Small Bronnaya , 19.00.
"Naples" A. Bournonville. Choreographer Frank Andersen. The artist-director is Mikael Melby. Costume Artist Deidre Clancy. Conductor Anton Grishanin. The roles are played by Oksana Kardash, Semen Chudin, Dmitry Petrov. The ballet "Naples" is as much a masterpiece of national Danish choreography as "Giselle" and "Sylphide" - French, and "Swan Lake" and "Sleeping Beauty" - Russian. Bournonville exhibited it in 1842 on the stage of the Royal Theater in Copenhagen, now also in Russia. The show breathes life into it by today’s producers and artists, so there’s no junk smell here and the feeling of having stepped into a historical museum. Premiere. Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre , 19.00.
"Kizhe" Yu. Tynyanova. Directed by Kirill Serebrennikov. Sergei Medvedev, Igor Khripunov, Kristina Babushkina, Stanislav Belyaev, Pavel Vashchilin. The play is based on the historical story of Yuri Tynyanov, based on anecdotes of the times of Paul I. Premiere. MHT them. Chekhov , 19.00.
