Tomsk students celebrated their professional holiday.

At 12:30, TSU students treated Tomsk residents to pancakes and hot sbiten at the University stop. At 13:00 the annual procession of students started from TEMZ. Having reached the monument to students on Novo-Sobornaya Square, the participants of the procession warmed St. Tatiana, the patroness of students, with a scarf.

“On Student’s Day, there is a big tradition - to warm Tatyana. This is done so that she becomes more responsive to students, especially during the session,” Tomsk student Irina Karikh explained to Rush Hour reporters.

Let us remind you that in honor of the holiday, Tomsk students will be able to skate and ski for free. In addition, upon presentation of a student ID, students of any university and college can receive a discount on goods and services in Tomsk cafes, fitness centers, shops and other organizations participating in the promotion.
