First, I would like to once again turn to the latest report of the TsSR, conventionally called for brevity by the names of Belanovsky and Dmitriev. When I read it, I felt a feeling of annoying and somewhat painful bewilderment. Why use such forces and means to come to conclusions about which, without all these graphs, diagrams and sophisticated terms, I have been constantly writing for the past few years, almost word for word?
I’m talking about all this, believe me, without the slightest desire to stroke my own vanity. I have absolutely nothing to be proud of here. To predict that if you add two to two, you will most likely get four, you don’t need a lot of intelligence, talent or any special professional skills. That is, of course, you can also do a lot of useful things along the way. Find out that the first two are black and white, and the second are wet and salty. Also try to swap them and try multiplication instead of addition.
But as a result of all this sacred rite, when asked directly what will happen as a result, one has to mutter doomedly with downcast eyes. Like, well, yes, in principle... well, four, well, following the precepts of the ancient joke, a maximum of four and a half, but certainly not five...
But we have only two terms and both are unchanged, and there is absolutely nothing to do about it. Still the same. Putin will not leave. There is no option in which he won’t leave and everything will be fine for the country. There is nothing more, the introductory ones are exhausted. And what topic makes sense to twitch?
Certainly. If there had been any pragmatic England or even supposedly frivolous France, they should have hanged themselves long ago. But we still live in Russia, where the flagship has always been not even Juno, but Avos. And therefore the sweet secret hope does not let us go, maybe it will carry us through, maybe we will somehow manage to do without blood and rebellion even with the current great helmsman and father of nations? This, in fact, is the main meaning of the Belanovsky-Dmitriev report:
“Let’s, at least theoretically, try to imagine and build a model in which Putin is for life, and not that everything is fine and wonderful, but at least nothing terrible happens.”
The most respectable learned men sit down, not just loyal to the authorities, in fact, one of the intellectual pillars of this very government. And they begin to come up with a route along the path in this direction, for example. They walk, walk along it, then do a zigzag, here they go around an obstacle, here they jump over an abyss, there they swim across a river - bam! At the finish line again - either Putin leaves, or a riot with blood. But Putin won’t leave! Okay, let's go the other way. They try again, throw all their strength and skills into overcoming calculated obstacles, weave, jump, again - bam! And the same result. Okay, let's make one more attempt and come up with another direction. They come up with it. And the third time, and the fourth, and the tenth... And - bam, bam, bam...
“The wind goes to the south and goes to the north, whirls and whirls as it goes, and the wind returns to its circles.”
Now a huge number of conspiracy theorists, interpreters, soothsayers, negotiators, advisers and, above all, talkers, talkers and talkers have suddenly appeared... They will come up with the most twisted and devious constructions, new parties, put forward their own and other people’s candidacies somewhere, carry any heresy, blowing away the non-existent the long-settled foam from the sour beer and constantly looking around stealthily, trying to quickly get something else somewhere.
And all such people still have one remarkable quality. Pass off the mixture of your hangover hysteria with the search for a lost worn sock under the sofa as cunning political games with great meaning and even greater subtext. The idea is, of course, a good one, but usually it ends when it turns out that the sock was lost a long time ago, in a completely different place, and it simply isn’t under the sofa, and fidgeting on all fours only intensifies the withdrawal syndrome, and nausea and headaches are increasingly accompanied by periods complete loss of consciousness.
Some kind of endless shamanic belts around the sacred pillar with howls on the topic “How to make Putin leave, and this is what will happen if Putin leaves, and when Putin leaves...” After a certain number of circles, once again - smack! - the foreheads of all those who slam their heads against this very pillar: “Putin will never go anywhere!” They lie with their faces in the snow for a while, come to their senses, stand up, shake themselves off and begin their ritual dance again. Some fantastically wretched foolishness. Do they eat some special substances so that the drive doesn’t disappear? I just can’t explain it to myself otherwise.
There is a boiler and a mechanic with it. Just don’t rush to call the fool right away. I perfectly understand all the primitive to the point of stupidity vulgarity of both the image and the comparison. But I do this deliberately; I want to once again emphasize both the primitivism and the vulgarity of the situation. The boiler needs to be serviced. Regularly carry out certain preventive maintenance, monitor instrument readings, carry out scheduled minor repairs, and similar nonsense. Otherwise it will explode. And if you do everything, at least relatively normally, it won’t explode. This is where the direct analogies end.
Because the people and the leader, the state and the leader have a slightly different relationship. A little less material and a little more mutually dependent.
On the one hand, this mechanic, no matter how wise he is and no matter how much more wisdom and experience he gains over the years, after some time he inevitably begins to make mistakes when servicing the boiler, forgets something, or gets lazy on some valve tighten, some boring nut may be considered unnecessary and thrown away.
But on the other hand, this boiler is still not an ordinary piece of iron. Even if the mechanic continues to do everything perfectly, that is, as always, like years before, when everything worked out perfectly, after some time the boiler will still explode. We need to change the mechanic before that. Not for the better, not for the smarter or more skilled. To another. In which case the boiler can also explode. But if you don’t change it, it will definitely explode. That's all the instructions for use.
Ship captains, aircraft pilots, officers, generals and even marshals are often written off based on purely formal indicators, not always fairly, but inevitably. Although the person may still be quite fit for work, it is better to play it safe; the risk is too great. For some reason everyone understands this.
Dying at the controls of an airliner with hundreds of passengers on board is considered a disaster, but ending your life in the chair of the head of state is almost a feat. Although there are many more passengers on board.
It is not a revolution that is needed to replace Putin, but it is necessary to replace Putin so that there is no revolution. But it will not be possible to replace him without a conditional “revolution” and it will not be possible to avoid a revolution if there is no change. And the culprit of this vicious circle is precisely and only Putin personally. Or rather, his behavior, which placed him in conditions of the impossibility of a voluntary and legal departure from power.
Here all sorts of restless souls, with a subconscious craving for goodness and light, but also a good memory of a flogged bottom, began to call for the implementation of the stupidest calls of the rally on Bolotnaya: “Let's take the list of violations and take them to the courts!”
I'm too lazy to even laugh at this. You can take a lot of things and even more where to take them. And he would put his life into ruining the mood of a couple of careless school teachers, and to achieve a couple of extra parliamentary mandates for the communists. I can no longer perceive all this nonsense even as a mockery of common sense; I already too personally feel it as a mockery directly and specifically of me.
I have no complaints about the petty technological violations during the wretched farce. My voice was stolen a long time ago and every sane person can see how. And to demand a “recount of votes” or some other similar dregs is the most disgusting and schizophrenic activity, public self-humiliation under Putin’s condescending and contemptuous grimace.
Initially, destroying the essence of the elections, trampling the political clearing, refusing to register parties all 22 times up to Gorbachev and monopolizing the central media, then stuffing ballots and rewriting protocols is bad not because United Russia is bad, but because these are crimes.
Everyone constantly remembers the elections of 1996 and starts talking about stuffing ballots, postscripts and cheating with protocols, which supposedly began right then. I'll throw away politeness. A vile lie. I understand what a howl is about to arise. But all the details come out eventually. But not a single confirmed fact, even the smallest, has been made public since then. What details are being revealed during the bazaar between Abramovich and Berezovsky are incommensurably more important and fundamentally significant both for today and for specific people. And about this there is absolutely nothing anywhere and from no one. Quite the opposite.
Recently, Andrei Vasiliev, the most direct participant in those amusements, who now has absolutely nothing to hide or lose, told in an entertaining manner, simply in the form of tales, how everything happened. Even thinking about stupidly altering numbers or something like that was considered “bad”, the excitement was completely different. “Vote or lose”, artistic chess throughout the country, games with division and poaching of candidates along with the electorate. Hence the photocopier boxes, brainwashing Lebed and similar pranks.
And – the second round! Can anyone imagine a second round under Putin? However, among other things that are completely inadequate, there are also such completely hopeless and out-of-touch dreamers.
I constantly hear naive, perplexed questions from all sides. In different forms, they all boil down to one single thing: “Doesn’t Putin understand such simple things?” And what follows is everyone’s version of how it would be very simple and natural for Putin to act “according to his mind.” But for some reason they ask each other, since it’s not very easy to ask Putin himself, unless of course you are a specially trained group of workers from Nizhny Tagil. So, out of hopelessness for the leader of the nation, I will have to answer:
If the conditional “Putin” had the ability and opportunity to listen to how one should act simply “according to the mind,” then it would simply be a crime to write anything against such a Putin, much less go to demonstrations. Here is another vicious circle.
In short, the cadaver pupated and folded space along with time.
