It is believed that art dolls originate from the XIII-XIVV.V., and then they were called "French fashionable dolls" or pandora. These dolls were intended to demonstrate the latest styles of clothing, and the mini-house on them to the slightest details reproduced real outfits.
For especially rich and high officials, the most talented artists made dolls of a single copy. By the end of the 17th century, “fashionable dolls” turned into a separate current, abstracted from their role, they began to make them to order, give, collect ... What is happening to this day.
In Russia, art dolls appeared much later, only in the middle of the last century, and our first acquaintance with them was not very remarkable: the puppeteers were accused of the fact that art dolls were “low art”, which was going to please the secular marshmallows and contain no sense or spirituality. But over time, the dolls began to be recognized, since it was impossible to deny the aura surrounding them.
Now the dolls are adored to trembling on sweaty palms, afraid as a concentration of devilish power, hate for their mystical and reverent in front of their unearthly, thin, spiritual beauty. A lot of puppeteers appeared in Russia and some of them are real geniuses of their craft, because, looking at their creations, you feel how the doll masters your consciousness, penetrates inside and jerks the invisible threads of the soul, like a puppet - it is you, not it.
In 2007, according to the materials of the Association of the Moscow Artists Association of Moscow ( http://dollat.ru ), the advertising studio “Sky” ( http://nebo-studio.com ) released catalogs with photographs of dolls of the best Russian puppeteers.
