It is cheaper to buy an apartment in the suburbs, but maintaining is 30% more expensive than in Moscow

Potential residents of the Moscow Region should be prepared for the fact that, saving on the acquisition of real estate, accommodation in the region in terms of the value of utilities will cost 30% more than in the capital, Kommersant-FM reports with reference to analysts data.

As you know, apartments in the suburbs are an order of magnitude cheaper than the capital. However, saving on the acquisition of real estate, then you will have to significantly overpay for utilities. So, if Moskvich leaves an average of 3.5 thousand rubles per month for the maintenance of a one -room apartment, then in the Moscow Region the same apartment costs monthly no less than 5 thousand rubles.

Sources of monthly overpayments may be as follows: firstly, the tariff for the use of hot water is unregulated and it is formed by local administrations and management companies affiliated with them. Its size can significantly increase the monthly consumption for utilities.

The second source of overpayments in how managing companies serving a residential building dispose of the volume of resources for which there are regulated tariffs. Since they cannot raise their value, they often very freely treat the volume of consumed. Most often, it is less than the volume of resources for which residents pay.

This manipulation works especially efficiently in new buildings, where before the tenants of the certificate of ownership, the entire volume is distributed by the developer, or an affiliated management company. In Moscow, overpayments also exist, but they are still not so high, experts say.
