Christian Truth works in urban space. He creates installations in places that he selects intuitively. First, the idea of installation comes to his mind, and then he - usually by chance - finds a place for its implementation. Christian’s installations are inconceivable without a specific and suitable space, so if you cut them and transfer them to another place, work will lose any meaning. They penetrate the city as parasites.
Fungus is the most famous Christian project, a kind of tag, a street logo, a signature. Fungus consists of repeating geometric shapes that Christian does not really have to urban architecture. This is a parasite arising from the urban environment under certain conditions, just as living parasites (from bacteria and mushrooms to fish and birds) arise and exist in biological nature.
Christian's works at the same time look both foreign, alien bodies, and as fairy -tale structures in the mobile urban environment. But, in a strange way, his geometric abstract forms fit perfectly into the overall stream.
Since October, Truth can be seen at the Artplay Design Center.
