Giacomo Quarenghi: "Harmony of Taste" . Exhibition of drawings by the famous Italian architect from various municipal assemblies in Italy. Quarenghi built the Alexander Palace in Tsarskoe Selo, the building of the Academy of Sciences, the Smolny Institute, the Assignation Bank, the Hermitage Theater in St. Petersburg, and Gostiny Dvor in Moscow. The exhibition almost completely presents the collection of works by Quarenghi in Castello Sforzesco (Milan), formed in the 19th century. The exhibition is organized into three thematic sections: fantasy landscapes and capriccio drawings, architectural design drawings and drawings, interior decoration, furniture and decoration.
