ETCH A Sketch
Honestly, at first I doubted what stream to write about ... Firstly, I would talk about the toy, but secondly, that with the help of it they can sometimes be called even such an awesome word “art”.
We are talking about the toy etch a Sketch. The legendary drawing machine for OHIO Art Company. The device and principle of operation of this miracle is quite simple: a thin glass gray screen, covered with aluminum powder, and a stylus that is controlled by two sores.
The toy "Magic Screen" was invented by Arthur Granzhan in the late 50s. He called his invention "L'Ecran Magique." OHIO ART has bought the rights to the toy, called “ETCH A Sketch” and in 1960 launched it on a wide sale. In America, the toy has gained immense popularity. The “magic screen”, which appeared in the early 90s in Russia, is nothing more than a pirate version of ETCH A Sketch.
