Volunteers and police spent the whole night searching for 10-year-old Danil, who came to Tomsk from the Kemerovo region with his mother. On Friday evening, the child left the house wearing tights, a sweatshirt and socks and disappeared.
The police and volunteers of the “Lisa Alert” search and rescue team immediately began searching for the child: they searched for the boy in neighboring houses, entrances and basements.
The operational headquarters was set up at a school nearby.
However, on Saturday around 11:30 pm Danila returned home on his own. According to him, he spent the night with a friend, who brought him back home. The child's return was witnessed by Rush Hour journalists Lyudmila Risling and Alexander Sakalov.
