Looking at the works of Joanna Basford, it seems that she can work with absolutely any surfaces and materials. The prints of her black and white drawings made by manually in mascara and feather can be found, anywhere: on bags, cars, glasses of Starbucks, covers of books and discs, dishes, sneakers and jars for cream. Atmospheric Old-Fashnd illustrations of Basford, drawn with jewelry accuracy, are also in demand in the world of fashion, in the architecture and design of the interiors. “Dive into a rabbit hole, and you will find yourself in the wonderful country of my black and white illustrations. I am a creative station wagon: design, illustration, prints. I want to fill the whole world with my hand drawings. I am one of those who still like to drive with a pencil on paper, and not engage in vector design,” Joanna says about her drawings.
