In the area, Andrey “Boston” Montanov and Alexey “Latin” Khulkarov became friends because they lived next door. As we got older, we became interested in graffiti, punk rock and related street adventures. Gradually they gathered around them a “crew”, a group of friends with common interests and - when the name Badline was invented in 2003 - clan tattoos. Now BLS, including branches in Moscow, Ryazan, Ufa and Petrozavodsk, has about a hundred activists - these are musicians, graffiti artists, hip-hop MCs and simply sympathizers
