The former jazz drummer and now an electronic wizard on the best dance floors of the world for an hour and a half delighted the Minsk audience with his sound. Unfortunately, referring to fatigue after a rather energetic set, Sasu refused to give us an interview personally, but promised that he would definitely give answers to the questions that interest us by e-mail.

You said correctly, this was my first visit to Belarus. Of course, I heard about you before. By the way, I watched the hockey Belarus-Russia a couple of weeks ago.
Did you like Minsk? And in general, in which countries did you already play and where would you like to play?Yes, I really liked Minsk. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised. As for the countries in which I played, these were countries, from China, ending with Colombia. By the way, I never played in Ukraine. And where would I like to play the most? Probably Japan. But I can say that I love playing where I have never been.
Is it true that you have Russian roots? Does anything connect you with the USSR? Your parents ... who are they?In fact, no direct ties with Russia. But my father, who was a writer, worked together with many representatives of this profession in Russia, as well as with many people from Karelia. In addition, he was a passive communist. The influence of Russia was always felt at home.
Why do you have so many pseudonyms: Conoco, Sistol or Uusitalo? My real name Sasu Ripatti. And pseudonyms are partly a joke, but partly practicalism, because I do so many different music, and often this helps to call various projects different names.

I do not read criticism, but I can say one thing that I have no particular problems with good or bad criticism. As for “luomo” - I think that there were few more critics, since already his style and plan were that it was easily reproached. However, after some time, the project received approving reviews. This is probably my most representative and public project, if I may say so.
I know that you have joint projects with your wife ... Can you tell a little about them?We have been together for a long time and together we have created a lot of music. In particular, we created two albums as AGFDELAY. And we made another album together with Craig Armstrong (this project was called “The Dolls”).
What do you like more when people listen to your music or break under it?It actually depends on the music itself. However, I really appreciate when they just listen to the music. I do not make music only for the body.
You used to be a jazz drummer, why did you decide to go to the electronic sphere? And I was still. When I realized that I myself can create music with the help of machines, I began to create electronic music. I had a long way from jazz motifs to something more than Ambient, and then to a more dance staph. But I still play drums, even more than before. Does the percussion instruments have a hobby? This is my passion, much more than just a hobby. Moreover, this is my profession.

Little enough, and much more acoustic and electronic tools.
Usually this takes a lot of time, but I can say that I work on a few tracks at the same time and never hurry to finish them as quickly as possible.
I want to make some Popdance tracks with Prince, maybe with George Michael, Justin Timberlake, Brandy. For the most part, I want to work with singers.
I have very little free time, but if it still appears, then I will rather read the book or watch the film. In addition, I like to cook, and also often go fishing. I have never played video games ... I guess I am already quite old for this lesson.

It seems to me that I already live in my most modest dream.
Nooo.
Unfortunately, I have already forgotten all cartoon heroes to say with whom I associate myself.
But aren't we all such?
His daughter. I have already built the house too. And of course with your music.
The atmosphere was just excellent, and people were magnificent. We had a good time, right?
