EXHIBITIONS
"Dramaturgy of the text." Exhibition within the framework of the III Festival of Contemporary Art named after D.A. Prigov. The entire last period of Dmitry Aleksandrovich Prigov’s work is manifested by theatricality. His origins lie in real university theater, for which he began writing plays in the early 70s and later directing them. Formally, this early dramaturgy belongs to the critical thought of the “society of performance”, when internal creative processes freely flow into the outside world, denoting their new state - publicity. Art in these artistic coordinates takes on the character of scenography. For the first time, this playful consciousness in Dmitry Aleksandrovich is revealed in the spaces of textography or verse, where the acoustics of the voice, its stratification, its dynamic intonations build the dramaturgy of paradox and super-personal conflict. The exhibition will feature 80 text compositions. State Literary Museum (Trubnikovsky lane, 17), until November 27.
