OTHER
4th Moscow International Open Book Festival at the Central House of Artists . The theme of this festival will be “The Future”, and all participants - writers Dmitry Bykov and Mikhail Elizarov, political scientist Van Creveld, scientific director of the Higher School of Economics Evgeny Yasin, philosopher Mikhail Epstein, literary critics and scientists - will talk about where we are heading and peace. To the five traditional festival programs (“Books”, “Children”, “Music”, “Cinema”, “Exhibitions”), several special projects are added. Particular attention will be paid to young authors from Eastern Europe (Belarus, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic), but not only them - writers and poets from France, Austria, Holland, Israel will also participate, Great Britain, Italy, Germany, Sweden, USA and other countries. The festival will include screenings of the Cinema Museum. The music program of the ArtMusic festival includes concerts by the groups “NOM” and Pumajaw from the UK, zZz and Blue Flamingo from the Netherlands (June 11); trio Lonely Drifter Karen (Australia, Spain, Italy) and We Are Enfant Terrible from France (June 12); The Montgolfier Brothers and Noblesse Oblige from the UK (June 13).
