“This is the 28th school. This is how children get to school from year to year! The school building is located below the level of the Lenin Ave. roadway. All year round, all precipitation moves to the school fence. In 2012, during major repairs on the school grounds, a storm drain was made, however, the problems with flooding of the paths to the school were not resolved. The snow that had accumulated over the winter was not removed, but was piled up in piles almost as high as a shuttle bus. These piles still have to melt! made for puddles! Parents of students contacted the city administration, but the snow was never removed,” the mother wrote.
