Treviso defeat

The current world champion in handball among women's teams, the Russian team, began its participation in the final tournament of the European Championship in Macedonia with a victory. Ekaterina Vetkova, Ekaterina Davydenko and Elena Dmitrieva scored five goals each, Emilia Tourey and Maya Kaverina-Petrova hit the opponent’s goal four times each. The Khimki football club, whose merger with Saturn near Moscow was announced by the Moscow region authorities, still hopes to survive.
