Poets of Mayakovsky Square

The #occupyabay and other folk festivals were ranging, but we, as before, continue our regular poetic marathon in the very heart of Moscow - at the monument to Mayakovsky on the Triumphal Square.

After extraordinary “visiting” Mayakovsky readings on pure ponds, now even the most negligent - today our project is the most relevant and in demand by the counter -cultural phenomenon of modern Russia, and the everywhere arising new and new branches of Mayakovsky readings - in Krasnoyarsk, Ivanovo, Yekaterinburg, London, Berlin - direct confirmation of the need to continue.
And we continue!

As always, we are waiting for you at the Monument to Mayakovsky at 18:00 every last Sunday of the month. We do not divide poets into “famous” or “unknown”, “sane” and “insane”, “fashionable” or “old -fashioned” ones - and even “poets” and “non -entries” are not divided. Our business is to unite, every voice is important to us, every word!
