On the eve of International Women's Day, journalists from the TV2 news agency asked Tomsk residents what gift they dreamed of. The majority of women surveyed said that the best gift for them is the attention and love of loved ones.

“As long as everything is fine, without any anomalies, nothing more. But it’s nice, of course, to receive flowers. I want something spring.”

“For children and grandchildren to come is already a gift for me. They usually come with flowers and a cake.”

“I would like to receive a stove or a slow cooker as a gift. But there were no useless gifts.”

“I dream of a good mood. And I also have a gift certificate for a massage SPA salon, so I think I will relax. There were also unnecessary gifts - figurines and souvenirs.”

“The health and well-being of loved ones is the best gift. Any attention: a drawing from a granddaughter, flowers from a husband, and sweets from children - everything is good.”

It should be noted that the public opinion research center Levada Center also conducted a survey among women on the topic of the most long-awaited gift on March 8th. According to the results of the survey, it turned out that 42% of Russian women surveyed dream of receiving flowers for the holiday - this turned out to be the most popular gift. The second most popular gift is candy. 14% of respondents want to receive them. 13% of women want to receive jewelry or money as a gift, 12% want cosmetics and perfumes. On March 8, only about 5% of women surveyed will be happy with household appliances.
