All nuclear stations of Ukraine are disconnected: emergency protection worked

At the Rivne, South Ukrainian and Khmelnitsky nuclear power plants, emergency protection worked due to a decrease in the frequency in the Ukrainian energy system. All power units are automatically disconnected , reported in Energoatom.

"Now they work in design mode, without generating in the domestic energy system. The radiation background at the venues of nuclear power plants and the surrounding territories has not changed, all indicators are normal," the company noted.

The issuance of electricity from the nuclear power plant will be resumed as soon as the operation of the energy system is normalized.

Also, due to a decrease in the frequency , the nutrition of the own needs of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant from the energy system of Ukraine was stopped . The station went into the full Blackout mode . All diesel generators are in work.

The radiation background at the ZAES site remains normal.

On the afternoon of November 23, Russian troops dealt another massive missile blow to Ukraine . They beat on civilian and energy infrastructure. Most cities are left without electricity and water. There are dead.
