A rally took place in Tomsk under the slogan “Power, talk to the people!” About three thousand people were waiting for Governor Sergei Zhvachkin and Mayor Ivan Klein, deputies, but government representatives never came to the rally participants.
The organizers, an initiative group of Tomsk residents, invited the Governor of the Tomsk Region Sergei Zhvachkin and the Mayor of Tomsk Ivan Klein to this meeting. The idea for the rally arose after a picket in support of the TV-2 television company on December 14. Then, according to various estimates, from 1.5 to 5 thousand people came to the square in front of SFTI. People have accumulated questions for the authorities to which they have not received answers.
In addition to the mayor and governor, the Chairman of the Legislative Duma of the Tomsk Region Oksana Kozlovskaya and the Speaker of the City Duma Sergei Ilinykh were invited to the rally.
