The plot of the film is the story of the brutal murder of four people in Kansas. The famous New York writer, takes on the investigation and is faced with Alter Ego. Egoism, narcissism and thin cunning are not hidden by the hero, rather, on the contrary, the writer will not miss the opportunity to show off once again, even where it is absolutely not appropriate.
Trumen, like Perry, defeated the passionate desire to be loved, the hood felt an incredible resemblance to the criminal in the fate, that both crossed the borders, one in creativity, the other in God's law. Nevertheless, the “writer” wins, the desire to finish the book exceeds the feelings of compassion, the hood is given to cunning and flattery, communicating with Perry “I am familiar with many celebrities, and they invite me to Greece, to Morocco, and I’m sitting with you ... But if I leave here, without understanding you, the world will see the monster in you. And I don't want that. " Then he deceives Perry, saying that the name of the book does not yet know, and then he betrays - without responding to calls, telegrams with requests for help.
