THEATERS
"Poor Lisa." Choreographic short story based on the story by Nikolai Karamzin to the music of the chamber opera by Leonid Desyatnikov. Directed and choreographed by Alla Sigalova. Starring Chulpan Khamatova and Andrey Merkuryev. The action from the sentimental 18th century has been transferred to our time - the heroine of Khamatova is not at all a quiet flower girl, rather an exalted student of a prestigious university, and the hero of Andrei Merkuryev is a nervous, gloomy nonentity, who with an equal degree of probability could end up in the ranks of terrorists and behind the bank desk. Theater of Nations on the stage of the Meyerhold Center , 19.00.
“Wolves and Sheep” by A. Ostrovsky. Directed by Konstantin Bogomolov. Starring Rosa Khairullina, Dmitry Kulichkov, Natalya Kosteneva, Ilyas Tameev, Daria Moroz, Sergei Ugryumov, Yana Sexte. Premiere. Theater p/r O. Tabakov , 19.00.
“Life is good” by P. Pryazhko. Directed by Viktor Alferov, Eduard Boyakov. Starring Natalya Lesnikovskaya, Pavel Artemyev, Yulia Volkova. A defiantly obscene youth comedy in the conventional form of a reading, distinguished by its liveliness and paradoxical charm. Premiere. Theater "Praktika" , 20.00.
“The Potudan River” by A. Platonov. Directed by Sergei Zhenovach. Starring Sergei Kachanov, Alexander Lutoshkin, Maria Shashlova and Andrey Shibarshin. The intonation of this “Potudan” remains in the audience’s memory for a long time - quiet, serious and touchingly pure. Premiere. "Theatrical Art Studio" , 19.00.
"Troilus and Cressida" by W. Shakespeare. Directed by Rimas Tuminas. Starring Evgenia Kregzhde, Leonid Bichevin, Maria Aronova, Vladimir Simonov, Marina Esipenko, Anna Antonova. The performance is in the spirit of this director: whimsical, overloaded, not too intelligible, but with a number of amusing paradoxes and witty solutions. Premiere. Theater named after. Vakhtangov , 19.00.
“The Overcoat” by N. Gogol. Directed by Valery Fokin. Starring Marina Neelova. “Contemporary” , 19.30.

EXHIBITIONS
"Blizzard". Computer graphics. A new work by the Blue Soup group, expressing the feeling of constant expectation that haunts us in real life, a feeling of discomfort and powerlessness in front of an unknown future. Winter landscape. Evergreen trees sway as the wind howls as snow clouds flow past. A couple of minutes - and vague human figures appear. They appear in an empty space where there are no trees (perhaps it is a frozen river hidden by fog), and quickly run to the other side, to where the forest is... “Winzavod”, XL-gallery (4th Syromyatnichesky lane, 1, p. 6), until October 25.
"Ten+: Contemporary Spanish Art, ABC Awards." The project was prepared by the art department of one of the leading Spanish newspapers ABC and the Cervantes Institute in Madrid. Presented are 11 works by contemporary Spanish artists, winners of the annual ABC newspaper award in the field of contemporary art. The exhibition is timed to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the prize, the same age as the 21st century, designed to support the latest artistic research in the fields of painting, drawing, photography and video. Cervantes Institute in Moscow (Novinsky Boulevard, 20a, building 1--2), until November 8.
"Thirteen". Angelica Cher's project is a look at the theme of childhood and adolescence. Where is the line dividing the world of children and the world of adults, and is there one? Cher's photographs give a feeling of illusion and fragility. A child's direct and open gaze into the camera creates an insurmountable distance from the viewer. “Winzavod”, gallery “Victory” (4th Syromyatnichesky lane, 1, building 6), until November 30.
