On June 11, in the framework of the “Sun will rise” tour, one of the best alternative teams in the country of 7rasa visited Ryazan. Before the concert, we talked with the leader of the group Alexander Rastych about Eastern philosophy, geopolitics and about the place of man in the modern world.

Sasha, what does 7ras do now?

Sasha: The group is now actively preparing new material for the album with the new guitarist Dan, who has the first performance with us today.

Is there already a need to state new songs?

Sasha: They are already there, they just need to be designed, arranged. At the moment, three songs are ready, over the summer, I think, we will raise more.

The group has an account at “ circles ”, the single is laid out for free download ...

Sasha: I don’t know, we just have a person, he loves these things.

Is this a tribute of time?

Sasha: He believes that it works. I think that it is unlikely to contribute to something.

For you, it matters how your music is taken out: they buy or download from the Internet?

Sasha: We posted this single on our website ourselves.

I mean albums.

Sasha: I don’t know with the album, we have no money to write it now. I don’t know what we will do.

Now the group has a difficult time?

Sasha: Yes, everyone is difficult now.

Have you ever received proposals to the group to sell?

Sasha: For a very long time, during the album "swing". There was a long conversation with Soyuz, then a new man appeared there, who tried to pour a fresh stream there. We conducted negotiations with them for a very long time, they issued us a normal budget for the clip and recording an album. But the matter did not grow together due to the fact that they slipped some agreements on us, from the series for artists of the Star Factory, absolutely powerless, by which it was necessary to unfasten them from concerts, etc. We asked them to remove these points. All this does not need an independent musician who has his own opinion, these offers to go somewhere on the air ... As a result, we refused.

Sasha, what is the most unusual tool you have to use on the record?

Sasha: The most unusual ... Sitar is not such an unusual tool. We used a cash desk for a children's Chinese toy for a Chinese toy toy. There are keys on it, you press them-some sounds are made, but the most important thing is a microphone in which, when you say something, there is a terrible distortion that is difficult to recreate using other devices. Andrei Alyakrinsky helped us to make upgrade, we soldered a nest to be able to connect a cord there and use it in records. We prescribed a piano through her in the song “leave us pain”, then I sang through this small microphone in the “enemy of culture”. It turned out hellish overload, some kind of infernal vocal.

The first two albums of the group (approx. - “first circle” and “swing”) have a similar mood, while in subsequent albums the mood on the recording varies greatly. What caused these changes?

Sasha: It is difficult for me to judge this myself. Something is changing in the head of musicians, poets during joint creativity. They grow up, just like listeners: first they listen to one music, and with age the interests and priorities change. This is apparently due to a change in the internal attitude. Although I know examples when some new wave appears, and groups begin to play deliberately in the spirit of time. We never had this, we played what we did, everything went out by itself.

That is why you have a displacement from the external to the internal? According to your songs, it is noticeable that recently you are more interested in understanding the inner world of a person than in the surrounding reality.

Sasha: If we talk about texts, it is difficult to judge this. Apparently some processes of worldview are changing. Previously, when you are in adolescence, it seems to you that you understand something like that, and a world of adult values, betrayal, some personal points are against you. And over the years, the realization comes that your personal life in your world is not so important, in comparison with life on Earth, in the Universe. Therefore, the priorities are shifted from the private, personal for which you cling to more large -scale things, like the unity of people, I began to interest me with such things.

On the album, the Illusion of Maya first appeared alien songs by you baked. Why did you choose an oak gay and civil defense?

Sasha: This is not casual. Firstly, this is a tribute to their contribution to the music of our country, for their separate position, you can even say underground. Because I still do not consider civil defense some kind of stadium Russian rock-this is such a group without any rotations, clips. These groups have folk love that can not be bought: neither rotations, nor constant glow on the screen. Therefore, this is a tribute to their civic position in the world of music, it is very respected by us.

Do you think the Russian listener lost a lot when Yegor Letov left life?

Sasha: Letov left about fifty of different albums, I think that a person has laid out to the end, went with dignity. I did not want me to be understood somehow vice versa, blasphemous, but the person left on time, I do not think that this happened at the end. He decided all his affairs here and is preparing, I think, to a new embodiment, or maybe he was already born.

You know that from May 24 to 30 in America a record low number of disks was sold. What do you think is happening with world music ?

Sasha: I think in America the situation is not completely related to the fact that people began to sharply download from the Internet and violate copyrights. Maybe there is simply nothing to buy? Although on the other hand there are always new reprints of your favorite groups. If we talk in general about the situation in the world, now the world is in the phase of some kind of decline. This applies to all its spheres: financial, political and cultural.

That is, in your opinion, all this in excess made itself felt?

Sasha: It is quite possible.

Sasha, you are warmly treated with eastern philosophy, what exercises are the closest to you?

Sasha: I do not make gradations, I do not confess any orthodox religions. The closest to me theosophy: the synthesis of religion, science and philosophy. This is a double attitude to the world, which includes the spiritual and material aspect. Because, as we see on the example of the latest events ...

Something like scholasticism?

Sasha: No. Many ancient knowledge has accumulated there, which may not be fed by material aspects at all. People now think so that they need to show some tricks, revive the dead, but this is not so deep. And scientists who get knowledge more, the more they understand how much they still do not know. Some models collapse, the same atom model, for example. In science, similar processes also occur. Because science is too material, after all, the spiritual aspect must be present. That is why many great scientists have always been either Kabbalists or people inclined, in addition to material knowledge.

What practices allow you to feel the surrounding reality better?

Sasha: In general, all this can be called meditation. This is not necessarily sitting in the lotus position, at least the devoteation of some time to your soul. It’s good to be alone when you are not drowned out by your inner voice, the voice of your soul, TV, music, noise, communication. This sacred process for me is called meditation.

Enough time for this?

Sasha: Of course, I organized my life so that I have a lot of free time. I read a lot, watch films, communicate with friends on interesting topics, and so I have no specific hobbies.

Rage has already come about this a conversation that you love from literature?

Sasha: I re -read it so much, probably it's time to re -read it again.

Maybe you highlight some era?

Sasha: No. I like Russian classics: Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Bulgakov, Nekrasov. A bunch of everything, it’s easier to say what I want to read. A lot of different literature is both artistic and philosophical, spiritual.

What is the most curious country that you had to visit?

Sasha: To be honest, I did not visit them so much. The last time I was with friends in Prague. I am not a tourist, there was no such desire to have time in ten days to see some castles, go with a guide, take a picture against something. I am not interested in all this.

Everything was legalized there, was it not noticeable?

Sasha: Yes, I noticed. They told me that everything was the same before.

In Russia, in your opinion, legalization does it take?

Sasha: If you mean complete legalization, I think not. And about the grass, I think you can talk, especially how destructive consequences in our country are alcohol. Science proven that the grass brings much less harm to the body, if you come from a scientific point of view. I can’t imagine that a person under the grass went to kill someone, and under the influence of alcohol, like this is completely nearby. I am not advanced for legalization, I calmly relate to alcohol and grass, I have no need to accept something, otherwise I will not feel comfortable. These are still things that lead you to the state of internal comfort, in fact you can experience these feelings in this state, and then try to generate it around yourself in normal mode.

In South Africa, the World Cup began, how do you feel about sports, football?

Sasha: You know, when some iconic matches go, when our team plays, if possible, I look with pleasure. I feel this intensity, a field, when millions of people, in the air, even the feeling is in the air that they are all united by a common idea, they are sick.

Is it created?

Sasha: Of course, I just mean a certain association, why all these things are important. They allow people to forget about who you are, unite a common idea, allow you to be in a single impulse - this is an interesting moment. Also with rock music, with concerts, raves with electronic music, at these events, people feel a brotherhood and forget about problems. Such things attract me.

You yourself are a kind of conductor and create a certain field around you ...

Sasha: In some way, yes. I wonder how these mechanisms work.

Each song is a certain state that is mixed with other conditions, as a result, the overall picture of the concert is loomed. In this regard, perhaps you have songs that no longer have a desire to perform live?

Sasha: I don’t have this right so that I don't want. I have songs because of which I have to return to the state in which I was writing these songs.

What are these songs?

Sasha: These are depressive tough songs, for example, Fuel. On the other hand, I understand that I am returning at a time when I was in the same situation as the people who have come to the concert now. I feel how important it is for them, and plunge into this state. Although I am no longer so depressive, not so decadently configured.

Was this in your life?

Sasha (smiling): Of course-it's all honest. You think I am such a funny, here I sat down and came up with it all ...

Was it a protracted period?

Sasha: Yes, of course. If I had not changed my worldview, I do not know that it came to me. And with an ulcer of the stomach, because of this, I lay, I had serious health problems.

That is, music helped to sublimate all this?

Sasha: Yes, sublimation, the very process of writing.

In general, what needs to be done to maintain a good mood ?

Sasha: Regarding the physical condition, this is because of some kind of energy imbalance. I constantly do exercises in the morning, it is somewhat similar to the yogic, exercises of Tibetan monks. They are not at all complex, mainly aimed at stretching the spine, if you know where we have the main energy centers, chakras, certain glands correspond to the physical level. It is desirable that the energy passes normally, at least at this level. Why people go to do yoga because they become physically stronger, the mind calms down. This shake is reduced, there is no constant jolly, it becomes easier to live. But what exactly for a good mood to do, I don’t know ... I am usually arranged by a neutral mood, when you usually laugh a lot, it is also not very good later.

If you compare you with the current one that was when only 7 racas arose. What is the main discovery in your life?

Sasha: Wow, what a serious question ... Probably that this life is not the end. And this thought has very large consequences, it is later reflected on actions, deeds, and in general you begin to look at all these things more large. I have never had thoughts, we live once, we need to snatch more all sorts of benefits: cars, refrigerators and it will be good for me. I will live so beautifully life and that's it. This is a serious question, it is difficult to answer it monosyllables.

All this comes with experience. You live, get experience. This cannot be taught only by going through this, if you are constantly hit on the head somewhere, you step on the same rake, then you have not learned the lesson. Life constantly teaches lessons, if you have already dealt with this, you will no longer have these cases in the life of these cases.

Non -resistance to evil by violence?

Sasha: This is too. On the other hand, different things of the ethical properties happen. If, for example, some monstrous injustice is happening in relation to you, then it may be and worth saying about it. So it also turns out that you are building a paradise only for yourself, I feel good, but you do not pay attention to the environment.

With your departure to the inner world, did abstract from socio-political realities?

Sasha: From social - yes, from political ... Recently, I am very interested in following politics. Not in the sense that to find out who is sitting there in the Duma, this is not interesting to me. I am interested in geopolitics, the relations of countries among themselves, because I feel that some crises are brewing, countries are faced with each other.

War cannot be avoided?

Sasha: Yes, there is definitely something like that. I don’t know what will happen, I'm afraid to even predict. These processes are interesting to me, I follow geopolitics, but with regard to social things, I am really far from them. Still, consciousness determines the being of a person. If you are sitting at home, watching a series about bandits, then watch the “Road Patrol”, you will live in this world. You will go out into the street, meet some incomprehensible people, some cops will appear in your life, i.e. You accepted these conditions of the game - you are in this game. This is yours - you can’t get anywhere.

If you compare with the 90s, then how did the 00s live?

Sasha: I felt calmer, I just calmed down internally, there are no longer these throwing.

Something on a spiritual level faded into the 00s?

Sasha: In this sense, I am talking about this decline, he is on the face. This applies to culture, in general. I watched Jarmush’s new film “The Minor of Control”, I did not understand what he was talking about at all. Maybe a person has insanity. I have a feeling that there is no certain energy recovery.

So, after all, some crises are needed?

Sasha: Of course, this is a wave theory. To be born a new one, something, unfortunately, should fall.

Then how do you see the future?

Sasha: I can't predict. I don’t know how this stage will end, and it is really transition, in my opinion, to which this decline of human models built in the world will lead to. It seems that everyone strove for Western democracy, relied on it, thought that this was the only way of human development. But no. I can’t predict, but something should change in the near future.
