Was there a boy?

At a rally that took place on Saturday on the main square of Krasnoe Selo in support of Denis Golubev, the dismissed director of boarding school No. 289, 432 signatures were collected under a letter addressed to Governor Valentina Matvienko. For more than a month, parents of students from this school and other residents of Krasnoye Selo, who have known Denis Nikolaevich for many years, have been trying to reach out to the local administration and city authorities with a demand to cancel the hasty and frankly ill-conceived decision to remove the director from office.

Chess Gambit
In mid-March, the director of boarding school No. 289 of the Krasnoselsky district of St. Petersburg, Denis Nikolaevich Golubev, was summoned to the local administration, where he was given an order from the head of the district administration to terminate his employment contract and dismiss him from the post of director. The grounds are paragraph 2 of Article 278 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, which states that the founder has the right to terminate the employment contract without giving reasons. That is, Golubev was fired because the founder has the right to do so. That's all.
But no one hid the real reason for this dismissal from Denis Golubev: the decision was made after a story from the series “Russian Sensations: The Power of Depravity,” aired on the NTV channel on February 19 of this year. The plot was about pedophiles seducing young boys, about a whole system of supplying “living goods” for the needs of perverts - including deputies, executive officials and other “child lovers.” In particular, there was a story about the head of a scout organization, a history teacher, Mr. Smirnov, who was charged with aiding pedophiles. Denis Golubev is called Smirnov’s “comrade-in-arms” in this story and - for some reason! - director of the orphanage. Denis Nikolaevich himself does not hide the fact that the television crew met with him during the international chess festival held in Krasnoe Selo - the television crew recorded a two-hour interview with him, from which the final story included three phrases taken out of context and even taken out of coherent speech, - just a few words, without the beginning of the sentence and without a period at the end. They sound like this: “...We held events with him for several years...”, “... Any boy must go through homosexual development...”, “At the stage of puberty at the age of 10-12 years...” At the same time, the voiceover spoke about pedophiles - perverts, about how cunning and secretive they are, and in the frame are the faces of Denis Golubev and deputy Dugov, who was present during the conversation.
This was precisely the real reason for the dismissal of Denis Golubev from the post of director. This is something the administration does not deny: as Igor Sushkov, deputy head of the Krasnoselsky district administration, said in a personal conversation, “Golubev could not cope with the new working conditions, you must be able to work with the press - think about what you say so that you are not interpreted in two ways.”
According to Denis Nikolaevich, he knew Andrei Smirnov, about whom investigative actions are now underway: together they attended tourist rallies, bard song festivals, and went on hikes. By the way, neither the investigators nor the prosecutor’s office contacted Denis Nikolaevich in the Smirnov case.
Denis Golubev sent a letter to the General Director of NTV, Mr. Kulistikov, and the Chairman of the Union of Journalists, Mr. Bogdanov, to which he has not yet received a response. There was no response from Governor Valentina Matvienko and Anatoly Karpov, the world chess champion, under whose patronage there is a chess school at boarding school No. 289.

Too quick
Denis Golubev came to boarding school No. 289 in 2004, his entire teaching experience to date is 23 years, and over these years no one - neither the students’ parents, nor education officials, nor law enforcement agencies - has ever filed any charges against him. claims regarding his professional activities. Before he came to a boarding school with a sports focus, where children from all over Russia study, this school was literally falling apart - directors changed, parents were in no hurry to send their children there. But with the arrival of Golubev, everything changed: new sections were opened, alpine skiing and karate coaches appeared, and all this was free for all children. Under Golubev, the chess school of Anatoly Karpov and the ski school of Lyubov Egorova were opened at the boarding school.
“It was good for us to work with this director - we understood what we were doing and why,” said Elena Privalova, a school employee, in a conversation at the rally. “We even went out on weekends and saw the results of our work.
“If this director doesn’t exist, the school will be closed in no time, this situation already happened several years ago, no one went there,” say Marina and Andrey Kort, whose children study at this school. — Denis Nikolaevich became the director, specialists came to him, now the school cannot be closed. If they appoint another person, everything will fall apart again, there will be no children, and the school will be quietly closed.
Mr. Sushkov, deputy. head of the administration, promised that not only would the school not be closed, but it would become even better.
“And in general, the administration has more merit in the creation of Karpov’s school, in the creation of Egorova’s ski school, in financing - we have allocated additional funding in recent years from the reserve fund,” he said. — And Denis Nikolaevich failed to use the amounts allocated to him, which is a violation of financial discipline. That is, the manager could not cope with the new working conditions.
But parents of schoolchildren absolutely disagree with the district administration.
“Now the administration takes credit for all the merits of the school and the director,” says Ilona Romanova, the mother of one of the students. —Where were they when the school was destroyed? Our children respect the director and are not afraid - this is the coolest option. Here the child calmly enters the teacher's room with his problem. Do you know many such schools?
“I’m a builder myself,” says Alexander Romanov. — Denis Nikolaevich is reproached for not using the funds, but he had the money in the fall, tenders had to be held, mountains of approvals, and snow fell in November. What kind of roof can be laid on snow?
“We have recently fired five school principals - this means that the system does not work, and it turns out that the director should be responsible for it,” says Vladimir, the father of a school student.
“In my opinion, the whole point is different,” says Marina Court. “They have been approaching the land on which the school stands for a long time - there is Tuutari Park nearby, expensive cottages have been built. If Denis Nikolaevich had not come to the school, it would have soon been quietly closed. And now people interested in this land have realized that as long as Denis is the director, the school will exist. So it has to be removed to get to the ground.
“I don’t know where such rumors came from,” objects Igor Sushkov. “We don’t have anything like that in our plans.” The boarding school will remain there and will even be better. And Denis Nikolaevich should first of all discuss this situation in court if he believes that his honor and dignity have been violated. If you think that you were fired incorrectly, go to court.
Denis Golubev has already filed a lawsuit regarding his illegal dismissal, and now his lawyers are preparing a lawsuit for the protection of honor and dignity against the NTV television company. “Novaya” will monitor the progress of events.
