We have outlined on the map the cases where UAV attacks led to the most serious consequences or public outcry. In most cases, we are talking about fires and explosions at oil refining and fuel storage facilities.
Ukraine still does not officially take responsibility for the attacks on Russian territory, however, Ukrainian journalists, citing sources in the special services, report that all these attacks were organized by the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
When and where did drones fly?
• January 17 - Authorities announced the elimination of a drone flying towards Moscow.
• On the night of January 18 - Ukrainian attack UAVs flew to the Leningrad region for the first time since the beginning of the war and reported an attempt to strike an oil terminal.
• January 19 and 20 - Drones twice attacked an oil depot in Klintsy, Bryansk region; after the second attack, the fire was extinguished for two days.
• On the night of January 21 - In Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region, drones attacked the Novotek offshore oil terminal; the fire was put out for 24 hours.
• On the night of January 25 - an oil depot in Tuapse caught fire, eyewitnesses saw several drones before the fire.
• January 29 - Russian media reported that a drone was intercepted over the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl, the drone fell on the territory of the refinery.
• January 31 - a UAV with explosives fell in the Kstovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region near the large Lukoil oil refinery.
• On the night of February 3 – the Russian Ministry of Defense announced two downed drones in the Volgograd region. The fire at the Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka refinery took a long time to extinguish.
• On the night of February 24 - A fire occurred at the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant due to the fall of a drone.
• On the morning of March 2 - In St. Petersburg, a drone caused an explosion in a house at 161 Piskarevsky Prospekt.
• March 6 - Drones attacked the Mikhailovsky mining and processing plant in the Kursk region, fuel tanks caught fire.
• March 7 – A “technological incident” occurred at the Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant after a drone strike.
• On the night of March 12 - Sergei Sobyanin reported about a drone shot down on approach to Moscow.
• March 12 — A drone attack on the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery stopped the largest oil refining installation.
• March 13 - a UAV fell on the Rosneft plant in Ryazan, a fire started in two installations at once.
• March 15 - In the Kaluga region, UAVs damaged equipment at the First Plant refinery.
• March 16 - The Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region is attacked.
• March 17 - Several drones tried to attack the Slavyansk oil refinery in the Krasnodar region.
• March 23 - An attack on the Kuibyshev oil refinery in the Samara region caused a fire in an oil refining column.
• April 2 - Drones attacked the Taneco oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk.
• April 12 - 4 UAVs attacked the Novoshakhtinsky oil products plant.
• April 20 - An oil depot in Kardymovo, Smolensk region, was attacked.
• April 24 - Rosneft bases in the Smolensk region are attacked.
• April 27 - Strikes on the Ilsky and Slavyansky refineries damaged key technological facilities.
• May 1 - Drones hit the Ryazan oil refinery.
• May 2 - Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region was attacked.
• May 9 - An oil depot in the village of Yurovka near Anapa was attacked.
• May 10 - A UAV strike caused a fire at the First Plant refinery in the Kaluga region.
• May 11 - Drones attacked the Volgograd Oil Refinery, the Kaluganefteprodukt oil depot and the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant.
• May 12 - Fire at the Volgograd Oil Refinery after a UAV crash.
• May 17 - The Novorossiysk fuel oil terminal and two oil depots were damaged. The Tuapse oil refinery was attacked.
• May 19 - Slavyansk oil refinery was attacked.
• May 31 - An oil depot in the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar Territory was attacked.
• June 6 - The Novoshakhtinsky oil products plant was attacked again, a large-scale fire occurred.
• August 14 - UAVs hit the Savasleika airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
• August 18 - In the city of Proletarsk, an oil depot caught fire after an attack.
• August 21 - A drone attacked the Olenya airfield in the Murmansk region.
• September 1 - The Russian Ministry of Defense announced 150 drone attacks on 15 Russian regions, including Moscow.
• September 11 - Drone attack on the Olenya airfield in the Murmansk region.
• October 4 — The LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery caught fire in the industrial zone of Perm after a drone attack.
• October 20 - An attack on the industrial zone in Dzerzhinsk damaged the Ya. M. Sverdlov plant.
• October 27 - A Ukrainian drone attacked the Michurinsky oil refinery in the Tambov region.
• November 8 - Fire at the oil refinery in Saratov after a drone attack.
• November 28 - The Priboy plant in Taganrog was attacked.
• November 29 - In the Masalovka village of the Rostov region, drones caused a fire at an oil depot.
• December 12 - A drone attacked the barracks of a special police regiment in Grozny.
• December 21 - Drones attacked Kazan, residential buildings were damaged.
