The sound engineer of the group, who was behind the remote control on the field, saw how several guys burst into the crowd a few meters from him and began to shoot people in place and point -blank. Spirin claims that the attackers shot and at the musicians - in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, he said that bullets were found on the stage. When it became clear that no one was in a hurry to disperse young people, the musicians left to wait for the stage. The attackers put on t -shirts, merged with the crowd and later went into the forest. After that, the concert resumed at the request of the organizers and spectators.

However, later representatives of law enforcement agencies of the Chelyabinsk region denied this information. According to another version, an attack on a rock festival may be associated with a political struggle between candidates for the upcoming local elections in October 2010. The fact is that the organizer of Tornado Valikhan Turgumbaev is going to run for deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Chelyabinsk Region. Perhaps he used a rock festival as a pre-election site and an attack was organized to discredit it.

Similar, but not related to the elections, the version is considering a number of local media: the Tornado festival has broken off from the similar project "Ural Rubezh", the organizers of which made an attempt to disrupt the concert of competitors.

At the moment, the authorities adhere to the version that the attack was an ordinary hooligan trick. The alleged organizer of the fight was detained, it turned out to be the owner of the local barbecue-cafe. He was allegedly offended by the local guys in front of the festival, and he decided to take revenge. A criminal case has been instituted under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“hooliganism”). However, eyewitnesses of attacks who saw a well -planned action do not believe in this version. The head of the South Ural branch of Solidarity, Alexei Tabalov, said that “the first vice-governor deliberately voices exactly the household version of the incident. He cannot publicly sign that the regional authorities do not control the situation in the region. As for the victims of the “household conflict”, 19 people turned to the hospitals, two had to be hospitalized, the rest are treated on an outpatient basis.
